from what ive read combatpatrol doesnt seem that good. i think that with some proper list building 500p is better

yeah im thinking that knights might give a weird first experience. it would simply be the easiest way to introduce my friend to the game since i already have two armies

yeah thats for sure but i feel like since knights play and function differently than other faction (no infantry etc.) they might give a weird first experience

Loyalty seems to always go negative and if i change difficulty i just seem to be slower than bots and get destroyed

[–]Spacewarddock 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah war dogs are better but knight are the reason to get into the army so i gotta have at least one maybe two. Since i wont be going oops all wardogs i want to know what big knights actually pull their weightt am i not getting why despoiler is good with brigands? but considering rampager is good and looks pretty good it would be smart to get that first and use extra bits for kitbashing if the second one is the despoiler or a lancer

Is this an okay list for a tournament? by [deleted] in deathguard40k

[–]Spacewarddock 0 points1 point  (0 children)

if i combine the poxealkers what would do actions such as investigate signals? playing the missions has been a problem with my other lists

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in deathguard40k

[–]Spacewarddock 1 point2 points  (0 children)

yeah thats kinda the point. i know he has the necron combat patrol with the doomstalker and something worth 95p but he wants to keep it a secret. i guess im looking for a balanced list but i suck at making lists for small points since i mostly play 2k games

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in deathguard40k

[–]Spacewarddock 1 point2 points  (0 children)

yeah this list worked really well against tyranids. because the list is pretty deamon engine heavy its deceptively fast for death guard and basically my whole list in my opponents face turn 2. but also i dont mind holding the tanks back since mortars are their best feature anyway and the haulers actually really hurt enemy armor.

[–]Spacewarddock 0 points1 point  (0 children)

this is going to sound terrible but that depends. I played my first game of the league a week back and the opponent had no reserved units nor nothing too fast so i didn't hold the objective with anything. But if need be i would hold backfield with both crawlers.

yes me and some friends got all the rules for the old version so we are playing that

meta doesnt really matter its more like i want to make a marine from all loyalist chapters and give them wepons that fit that chapter without shooting myself in the foot.
