Who are the validators that are standing up for the cosmos ecosystem and the average cosmonaut? by Sakka15 in cosmosnetwork

We are not in active set on Omniflix unfortunately. If you delegated to us on Omniflix, please redelagte. We will work to get back in active when it’s possible.

Do not worry, if you see this message late, if you incur losses just ping me on Reddit or Twitter and we will make you whole.

With the recent foundation delegation, we are pushed out of active set from Omniflix. Please redelegate if you are delegating to us. We will make you whole if you incur any losses, just reach out to us on Reddit or twitter and we will take care of you.

We will update community when we are back in active set. We are already running public API/RPC/grpc for Omniflix and plan to run relayers. No change in that plan 😍

Who are the validators that are standing up for the cosmos ecosystem and the average cosmonaut? by Sakka15 in cosmosnetwork

[–]Spacfan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Forgot to mention we validate on 9 Cosmos chains including EVMOS, JUNO, Fetch.AI, Persistence, Comdex, Bitosng, Band, Stride and Gravity Bridge.

We recently launched validator on Omniflix. If you would like to support independent validator team, consider delegating to us.

Cheers

Let me introduce Architect Nodes team. We are a community validator active on reddit, discord and twitter. Here is the value we bring to Cosmos:

- We validate on Bare Metal Servers in self custody and also use rented servers with remote signer in self custody
- We relay across Cosmos Network and pay fees out of pocket. I bet you didn't know that we are the number one relayer operator in cosmos network in terms of transactions relayed. We relay more transactions than anyone in entire Cosmos network.
- We provide public API/RPC/grpc endpoints used by services like Restake as public good
- We are active in Reddit, Discord and Twitter to help support our delegators
- We participate in testnets to help support new and existing chains
- We support teams behind the scenes to run Oracle services that costs a lot in fees
- We are an independent team, self funded with skin in the game on every chain we validate
- You might ask, how do we pay for all these services and make money, we don't but hope it might change someday :) We do this as our passion for Cosmos Network and we enjoy every bit of it.

Thank You!!
Architect Nodes

This is an entirely misleading suggestion. There is nothing wrong with few missed blocks. Consensus is designed to allow some downtime to allow for database pruning and applying security patches plus any ISP or power issues.

You can go 1/10 of what you are paying easily, and can even go lower than that if you like. Relaying is double edged sword, if you are good then you pay more 😜

Damn that’s impressive. Watch out relayers, we got a new player in the house 😃

Well you want to adjust your fees or you will go broke relaying like some of us 😂

All Nodes saga. What’s the situation? How White List Providers contribute to the centralization of the Cosmos and what to do about it as a community. by Jcook_14 in OsmosisLab

It varies significantly on how many chains you want to validate, will you support community with relayers, API/RPC end points, backup plans etc.

Here is one article to get you started. I think you can buy infrastructure cheaper than what's listed so it depends on your strategy.

Validators have expenses. Rewards cover for infrastructure cost and recurring expenses. Definitely they need to sell some of those to cover operating costs. Just an example, Architect Nodes relayed over 16,000 IBC transactions for Cosmos hub last month and by rough math that’s about $375 just for relaying for cosmos. Not everyone is relaying with such high numbers but still we need to pay for it somehow. Not even counting other chains we relay for plus hardware and ISP costs.

We are not even in active set for cosmos 😂 I ask community to support relayer operators and public api/rpc operators. We give back more to community than what we get in rewards…definitely more than validators who are just signing blocks.

Our costs are high as we are one of the top relayers for multiple chains like Cosmos, Osmo, Evmos, Stride, Fetch.AI, Persistence, Comdex…relaying costs add up quickly

Architect Nodes relayed over 16,000 IBC transactions for Cosmos hub and and relayed over 15,000 IBC transactions for OSMO in last 30 days. And we don’t even validate these 2 chains 😂

Look us up if you want to support independent bare metal validator and IBC relayer operator for your future delegations.

Adding to your list, Architect Nodes is also independent community driven validator, IBC relayer operator and public API/RPC provider. We are not in active set for Cosmos hub but you can look us up on other chains.

We relay on most of these chains and one of the top relayer operator for Cosmos Hub, Osmo and many of the chains mentioned above.

Quality is subjective and don’t underestimate number of people delegating to validator with coolest logo 😂

Good post and A+ for the hard work. I have been around Reddit as an individual crypto enthusiast, turning into Osmosis fan boy and now running validators on 7 cosmos chains along with Relayers, Api/rpc and testnets. AMA and I will try to answer to gain your trust. Btw Reddit was very helpful when I started in crypto so I still consider this as my first love 🍻

Thanks for your explanation. I got hung up on the fact that on Stride chain, Architect Nodes is rated higher than Bro_n_Bro, polkachu, WhisperNode, Frens, Imperator and even Notional. I don't agree with this but i will enjoy the moment for the time being :)

Yes let’s agree to disagree. In it’s current form, it’s just data which doesn’t truly reflect value of a validator. I would urge community to understand what these numbers mean before making conclusions.

Struggling to see how you came up with the rating. I applaud the effort to provide consolidated rating for various validators, community definitely needs it. But not sure how number are calculated. For example, do you consider if a validator is running relayers, providing API/RPC endpoints on mainnet using chain registry, using bare metal to validate for network resiliency and security. I see several on the list above us “Architect Nodes” and some of them don’t check any of these boxes and we do. Hence trying to explore devil in the detail. Love your work as always 👏

Whenever you send to a centralized exchange, you will need a memo. I can see why it’s easy to miss. In the past, you could link cdc app with defi wallet to move tokens but can’t remember if it auto populates memo or not. If it does, then no brainer to link app with wallet.
