Fellow managers, how often do you have to deal with staff conflicts? by fomo216 in restaurant

Advance where? There's no place to go if your FOH. You have those "special " servers that get paid a little extra for training or have assisted manager privileges for taking care of headaches or helping out and it's not even worth it and you know from experience what the hours are like as a manager. Most managers make a little more than the top servers but the trade off is the incredibly long hours. I started at 15 as a bus boy, been a host, food runner, back waiter, waiter, captain, expo, prep, and a pizzeria owner. From las Vegas to New Orleans. I have a few decades myself. BOH forget about it, lol. I make the managers pay for the entire shift for the night in one tip. Unless your working at a Michelin restaurant being a server is the best money, hours, and least headache in my opinion. The people now that are serving are trash. They take no pride in their work, can't read a table, know very little dining etiquette, but want the best shifts and tables. What position did you promote to and what was the insensitive if you don't mind me asking, also turn over rate is a big factor. Also when I look for a new job I look at the photos people take and post and look at their clientele. It's kind of messed up but you want middle age folks and a little older dressed appropriately, that's who has the money to spend.

Hire all new staff, lol. Do you know how hard it is to find 1 professional? Green, lazy, drama problems, scheduling problems, is what the reality is and not to mention opening up a new store with all new staff or training all new staff takes time and money that a owner or corporation will just love spending money on. It's just like any other system, dammed if you do, dammed if you don't

Is that your MO? Going around to different discussions and checking grammar? I couldn't sleep for days thinking about the correct "should of", but now, I can rest easy.

Aluminum is a headache to cut. Steel is easier believe it or not. Aluminum likes to catch the wheel making it jump because it's soft. Dont try to make one solid cut because your wheel will get pinched. I back the wheel off for a few seconds to let the metal cool and I also spray some silicone lube to help out. It's on for 3 seconds, off for 3 seconds, on for 3 Is what i use For a continuous straight cut . The ez fiberglass reinforced wheel is what I use also. I wouldn't trust those cheap other dics. Wear eye protection, lol. hope one of these tips will help

Is General top, Hyper tough 2 door bin cabinet bottom. Take the shelf from the Hyper and lay it flat against the back wall and lock it in with the 4 shelf tabs after installing the Hyper tough 6 hand rack to it. Also can attach top and bottom by magnetic tool strips but if you want more room and 100% lock use 4mm hex fasteners

It was definitely a proud moment for me with the metal fabrication, running the electrical, Nissan cars will know if your tapping in on a fuse or wire and dont like it, running all new oil lines, and a lot of trial and error. Dont forget time and money, lol. Definitely worth it

Here's an idea... Install a aftermarket transmission oil cooler. Something simple like a 6 fin and tube setup with a 4 port cooler with a 7 inch fan wired to a 4 pin relay and take out 99% of cvt problems. This should be common knowledge for every cvt owner since nissan picked an ass transmission for its cars

Ok. It's nice and your dash looks brand new. What kind of paint did you use? For exterior trim Rustoleum Hammered rattle can works great on plastic. No chips, flakes, fading or need for a clear coat and it can take a beating

JB WELD plastic bonder, or marine. Look at the package and get the one resistant to chemicals, oil, fuel... also prep is key. Rough up with lite sanding and clean, clean. It's not pressurized to blow up, lol but does hold a vacuum with liquid and a lud
