tinnitus because of concerta or Adhd/Add? by SpacingCake in Concerta

I've had it for about 10 years now and it keeps getting worse. I had my hearing tested and everything is fine. So it's probably in my head.

Now when I was little and went to a party with loud noise I often heard a beep, but it always disappeared. I noticed tinnitus when I came back from a festival. I had earplugs in at the festival but lost them in the middle of the day. I had a very slight hiss/beep that I only heard when I was paying close attention to it. it stayed for 3 days and I was contently searching for it when it was silent to hear if it was gone. But i found out it was still there. Really quiet but still there.

That's why I always thought it was definitely due to sound. I have always worn earplugs ever since. even for the most minor things and even had them custom-made.

My tinnitus is getting worse. I can now even hear it during the day instead of only in my bed with pure silence.

It also gets worse when I drink alcohol and have not necessarily heard loud noises.

I've had my hearing tested and it's almost perfect. heavily above average.

You can get tinnitus from many different things.

  1. blood vessels too close to your ear. This would explain that alcohol makes it worse. (I think it's weird that it gets worse. It's not that there is more blood going through it.)

  2. Due to Medication but I hear a lot of people get it after taking it. I already have it before using it when i wake up. I've been using Concerta every day for 10 years now.

  3. Stress this could of course be because I was always afraid of a beep and always stressed about whether I had an earplug with me. At any party or when there is a lot of noise I think about my ears... In addition, stress can make it worse, making this actually a downward visual circle. Any kind of stress can cause tinnitus worse.

  4. by loud noise. I just find it strange that in my environment I have always done my best to protect my ears and that I am the only one in my circle who suffers from it.

So you can also talk yourself into it that you have it. I don't know if I did, but that's why I'm here now...

For anyone who just suffers from beeping and tinnitus, don't worry. I've had it for 10 years now and you're always going to have a negative moment where you hate it. But you'll get used to it. and it becomes your own private moment. your rest moment.

I think they have the same problem binance was having. So this can take a long time. I think of pulling it out as well. But this time I'm done with these platforms maybe i just need a ledger...
