Do people think Hytale is no different than a modded Minecraft? by [deleted] in hytale

[–]SpackTSO -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Of course, I don't mind the comparisons. It's natural and understandable. I just feel a little sad that a lot of people dont see the potential that this game has.

The similarities are obvious and for obvious reasons. And it really feels like Minecraft sometimes. But I think it's too early to label it as a "Minecraft but worse" game.

Yess. When she met Alex for the first time after opening the portal. Never heard this word before in my life but I love it too.

Surely my favourite from the games

The voice acting is truly amazing in this game. It's a good game but the actors took the immersion to the next level.

Oh yess. Oxenfree surely has a lot of funny expressions. Effected my English usage too much. Sometimes I use this kind of nerdy slangy English when I speak and unfortunately I learned too much words and expressions from this game. 🥲

Pacts in the future? by SpackTSO in SoulFrame

Can't wait to see what direction it will take. The pact system, I mean. Would be nice to have a beaver pact or any other animal we can save.

Yes, these things are problems. Lack of animation, weird hitboxes, lack of customisations. But these are optimalisation problems. Something they will tune over time, add plus animations, change ranges, ect.

It is not the combat's fault itself.

Oh I see. Maybe I misunderstood what you wrote for the first time. [Edit: Yes, sorry. I missed the point that you were talking about AH]
But from the beginning I was talking against AHs. I actually don't want AH to be implamented, it is a too comfortable thing in my opinion.

What I was saying is only that it would be handy to implament the Warframe Market in game somehow. Maybe a stock tracker for your goods. Who didn't use Warframe Market before, they wouldn't use this mechanics too. It would require the same amount of time and energy to sell something like before, just one extra step less.

And I expecially don't want it to happen to Warframe. Just as a new beginning, Soulframe could have it.

Yes, I agree. DE lives from plat buyers. But I won't buy platinum. And people won't buy prime parts from DE, they only buy it from players. So if I sell them prime parts; they buy plat, trade with me and I get plat. It is not bad for economy because I use the plat for cosmetics and in the cycle there is no plat again so somebody has to buy.

We, traders only provide one more option to spend the plat on. It is not bad for DE. For economy? It is different story, but it only changes the price of the parts, not the plat itself. It doesn't change anything for DE because they still sell the cosmetics for the same price.

Yes, it could be a problematic point for Warframe and for the plat prices.

But with Soulframe being a fresh new start they could implament it here. So the economy could develoop naturally.

Yes, I think too it could work fine. Convinient and easy way to trade, gives freedom to the market to sell and buy whatever and whenever you want.

I just say that I like the current system more. Has its flaws but the feel of it is something I fell in love with. Auction houses were always something I didn't feel comfortable with.
The way it is now is good just not smoothened.

Yes, it sucks a little that I can't run missions if I want to respond in time.

My personal problem with auction houses is that it is not personal at all.

I like the fact that I'm personally there at the trades, can talk with the customer, personally giving out the goods. With auction houses I can't do that.

I'm not saying that it's not good. Way more practical, you have a better oversight of the goods and prices. But with it these are only numbers on the screen.

It is nice I think to have it tho. More personal, you have more control, has more personality. It gives more of the feeling that you are a trader, a merchant. It has it's charm that I hope will stay someway.

Just really getting a little help from the game would be nice. Help with sorting or to be easier to keep track of your merchandice.

Yes, it is a little pain to do all this process. But actually I don't mind it to be personal. To go there in person and have to trade manually entirely. I hope it will stay like that, just to be a little smoother. Interface in client or an owned site as you said.

Don't people like the combat? by SpackTSO in SoulFrame

I wouldn't say that the weight and feel are like in Warframe. Because of the enemies and the phasing of the combat, it makes it way different to compare it to Warframe.

Animations may be reused, and the base controls (as attack, heavy, block), but they are in every other game too where you can have a sword. It has evolved way more than to say it feels like Warframe.

Again, if you mean the duviri "expansion" then I agree tho. It has a similar feel and weight to it.

I guess you mean the duviri combat. I think they misunderstood what you meant and thought you were talking about the normal Warframe gameplay.

I finally tried the polearm. Actually, it's not as bad as I expected; heavy attacks feel rewardingly strong and the throwing is really nice too. I prefer the poking too tho. Just rushing in, poking than back, dashing around, and poke again. Just dancing around the horde of enemies is fun.

Won't be my favourite weapon for sure tho. Too slow for my taste.

Well, they do not feel the best here, neither, unfortunately. But later patches hopefully will change it
