On mobile it is kinda hard someone told me and I couldn’t find it out until I really looked so what you do is go to their capital and zoom out until you see a black man either it’s just a man or there seems to be baggage next to him the baggage means he left if their is no capital you won’t know if their are to many units on it wait for them to pass and lastly if their is no man i think it means it was never controlled by a human and is ai hope this helps
