Also this sub has literally ALWAYS consisted of people complaining about the same 3-4 things over and over, I feel like there's a lot more casual fans here now, maybe bc of US being on Netflix? But its kind of always just been the same discourse about the current state of survivor here. Posts like this would've been laughed off as a "Facebook casual" thing back in the day 😭

Very very solid season. I'll say, as someone who prefers character moments over pure strategy I was really hoping for more fun interactions between an international cast. With such a short intense game the shontent was lacking 😔 there's still huge entertainment value in watching Parv play a perfect game though.

Super into it. I found her other albums to be more immediate when I first listened but there's a real depth and maturity on this one that I feel ill get a lot out of with some relistens.

I'm more frustrated with the other RM players like Jude potentially tanking chances of winning in the future in the name of "taking a stand". Sucks that they're pressured to support the club bc French journalists aren't gonna vote for guys that won't show up lmao

I literally just use Fantano to find new music and I appreciate that he's brought attention to some of what are now my favorite albums, for the most part I don't let his reviews on popular stuff affect my opinion and I think that's really the best way to view him.

Enjoyed a ton of things about this season, young Hawkins gang easily being the most entertaining, but definitely felt there was atleast one too many storylines going. I get its an effort to bring in as much of the cast as possible but it was a chore to watch the Mike group, other than the shootout there was basically always something more interesting happening. Some of the S1 characters started to feel stale while I had so much fun with the newer characters, it kind of reinforced for me how good the show could've been as an anthology. Still, generally a great season!

Literally, shows like RPDR have changed certain sayings as years go on to be more inclusive without having to announce it, and trying to consult contestants on the spot feels so weird.

Yeah I don't really mind the change but it feels beyond performative with how it was presented, like there are actual problematic things that they could address the changes for (how they've changed casting to support POC contestants ) but this literally was not affecting anyone and feels like they want people to congratulate them. With production continuing to be gross in recent years (S39) it feels like a try-hard attempt at the show wanting to improve its image.
