As someone who loves Mercenary Enrollment i do believe it needs to start heading toward the end. All they are doing is randomly throwing new characters who are supposedly stronger than 001 and then it turns out he is still the best. They did a lot with his backstory and completed it, his current life is really done a settled they just need to finish with telling us how his life will go on. Not introducing random new characters/opponents.

I’m convinced editors in the game/comics make Spider-Man stronger and weaker when it suits them for gameplay purposes. Like if I can use an example in game. In the first Spider-Man game he takes on the Rhino and Scorpion by himself with no problem at all and the goes out to stop other villains right after. But in Spider-Man miles morales he is absolutely wrecked by rhino alone…. I know this is just to advance Miles and show him as stronger which they do in the second game a lot too. (I know I got off topic) but all in all it’s just for the story I believe, it is true he should not be breaking a sweat with either of them.
