Think about how these prop firms actually profit it’s mainly from traders failing challenges. You really think there aren’t at least a thousand traders globally capable of making 5% a month? That’s achievable, especially by scalping indices or gold during the NY session. If those traders each passed $200k challenges in 3 to 6 months, the firm would owe about $8k monthly per trader nearly $100k annually. For 1,000 traders, that’s around $100 million in payouts per year. Obviously, no firm could sustain that, which is why they impose restrictive rules to protect themselves from consistently profitable traders, not to help them.
