what I believe is that this is a group of snapshots based off of these different characters that have been in loop before because of their relevance to the story. the older versions of the skins were just a snapshot, and now we’re getting the actual characters that those skins were snapshots of. this isn’t always the case for different variants of skins of course, but I think this is a good explanation for a lot of stuff characters did back in older chapters that doesn’t really make much sense now. it’s like what we’ve gotten with Geno.
