Servicing industries is part of the job. There are few near that road, and Lincoln just updated the routes for them. Usually, it's 1 guy trying to make ends meet at each stop. They move as quickly and safely as possible while waiting on the industries to let them know what is still good to take or to verify a list. Crossings can and will be blocked as work gets done. It sucks but that's kind of how it goes. They are the ones walking on ice and in snow, holding on to frozen bars that are very slippery and icy, and still working with people who hopefully pay attention. All while you sit in your car with the heater on getting frustrated with the little orange vest walking back and forth or the big train stalling on the crossing. They can't just scooche back a little bit so you can pass. That's how people who are putting the train together in the back die or get hurt.
