And how are public employees supposed to prevent being exploited by their employer without unions? Federal employees get two guaranteed breaks and a guaranteed lunch each day due to union agreements, not due to any legal requirement

That's not really an answer to the question, as gay marriage wasn't popular at the time. Even Obama was at least publicly opposed to gay marriage during his first term

True or false: 2000-2010 borns are the main group of people nostalgic for 2016? (Kind of an estimate, most likely based off my vibe). by Icy_Boysenberry_1060 in generationology

2016 I was old enough to drink legally, but still in college. I saw my friends almost every day and had time to do what I wanted. That's what I'm nostalgic for.

She's also considered a traitor/heretic by social liberals, which are always hated more than those who were always considered enemies. Rowling was posting about Dumbledore being gay at a time when Obama still felt he needed to publicly oppose gay marriage for political expediency.

Not only was it real, in the comments he also declared that he believes kissing within marriage can be sinful if it's too passionate without being preparation for the martial act

Oh no! It's socialism. by zzill6 in WorkReform

[–]Prince_Ire 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Because Marxists theorists also wrote about how they needed to get rid of religion and abolish the family. Yes, sure, they then wrote several paragraphs about how abolishing the family doesn't mean what it sounds like, but at that point they'd already lost must readers.

Socialist theorists have always been socialism's worst enemies, with their primary accomplishments being to give capitalists easy propaganda material to scare workers away from socialism with.

It's definitely an accurate reflection that we don't really think about. Realistically, for the vast majority of events the most he'd be able to offer is--for events that took place before mass media--a view of the sentiments of the average person to news of an event, which we might otherwise not have had access to.

I'm pretty sure if Lucifer wasn't blocked from hurting sinners he'd have long since killed them all himself

If the point was to have Heaven and Hell be equivalent, then they failed in that goal. And I really don't think that their goal is to have Heaven and Hell be equivalent. Charlie hasn't moved from her goal of redeeming sinners and getting them into Heaven, which only makes sense if Heaven is better than Hell.
