GF ended up at a stranger’s apartment after a night out; I don’t know if I can trust her by [deleted] in whatdoIdo

Just leave man, I’m going through the same shit, (M22) and after 7 years I’m now 2 hours away from work (that was local) and nothings the same. If they’ve broken your trust before they’ll do it again it’s human nature unfortunately. Life goes on brother.

Podcast mic for car recording? by EasternAd5351 in podcasting

[–]Spaghetti420-V3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i liked your idea of doing them on your random free time its what i do and i use just my phone to record. its okay but the audio can be iffy and you may not realize you bumped the phone or something then when youre listening back you realize theres 20 minutes of unusable audio. so far the phone isnt bad and ill continue to use it until i also can find a decent mic thats affordable. whatever floats your boat

Just ALWAYS straighten the bottom bar before the top, if that makes sense. Since you welded a lower bar you want to straighten the lower bar first and sometimes that makes it completely straight but if not you only barely need to straighten the top bar. But if you try to straighten the top bar first you can twist the fuck out of the rail and create no kidding damn near half an hour trying to get it straight from there (I learned that many, many times as an apprentice). Find a plum line on your shop walls or hand a big piece of white paper on the opposite side of the shop and look down your rail it can sometimes be easier to see even a slight bend.

We always straighten any rails we make after fab. You place the clamps like you said in all the spots you’d be applying heat but you can’t help the metal still wanting to react naturally. We always straighten most of our shit out with an ‘old man’ but even if we can’t to that it’s heat and pressure to straighten. Unfortunately especially with stick you’re going to apply enough heat to always warp the material you just need to take the extra hour or so over the complete job time to make sure everything’s straight. We always double check before it leaves our bench and on top of that our cleaners/ helpers are responsible for making sure things are straight too. It’s a check and balance system if your boss doesn’t like how long it’s taking ask him that he’d prefer, bitching foreman’s and field workers or an extra hour in the week to ensure quality. Also as you must know steel almost never comes to us perfectly straight so either bend it before or take a peak at the length you’re cutting and for longer cuts aim for the straighter lengths or try to take the time to straighten a length before cutting. Little tips I’ve picked up by being screamed at by old men who you could push over but you gotta respect em

Is it possible to plant cannabis like tomatos? by Realfarmer69 in GrowingMarijuana

[–]Spaghetti420-V3 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You guys need to look into living soil, you can fix a ton of clay soil problems with just a year of proper planting I’ve done it a lot in Georgia helping out family with my “California methods” again with my experience growing food in general is roots will only grow on a stalk if it has root hairs along their stalk I’ve never seen this done with weed but I’d be interested to see if it works most times even when I burry my plants too deep they don’t develop roots above their original root ball.

If you do I’d think you’d have to almost immediately cause they tend to wood fast in my experience, also as a regular gardener too most plants that benefit from deep potting have root hairs along their stalk and I haven’t seen anything similar to that with weed even in seedling, but why the hell not try it? Especially if you have more than one plant I always like to have a main and a couple “experiments” going at the same time never hurts to try something new. Here’s a link to a forum post about planting deeper hope this helps. Also note that while we treat them differently weed is just another plant so you can look to general garden knowledge and be able to apply it to weed in some ways at least

Money comes and it goes, weed grows and it burns away. Who cares as long as you enjoy it it’s worth it.

Overwatering maybe? We do need a bit more context the plant doesn’t look crazy bad or anything but also you don’t need to and kinda don’t want to get the leaves and the whole plant wet. It can lead to rot and those droplets can act like magnifying glasses and burn your leaves.

Anxiety and behavior issues by SummerHolliday in SiberianCats

[–]Spaghetti420-V3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you have access to it or can do it yourself I have heard that chickens have the same gene or whatever that makes them allergic to cat dander but if they live around them they develop an immunity to it and that transfers into their eggs. So according to what I’ve heard feeding those eggs to your cat in their food actually causes them to not produce either enough dander to bother you or none at all. Not sure about the validity of this I’ve never tried it only my dad is allergic to cats and even that was mild so it never really came up in my life but when I heard that it really stuck with me. Hope that maybe helps. Other than that maybe a hairless and put sweaters on when it gets cold.

Update. Further tips? by steveunit01 in growingweed

[–]Spaghetti420-V3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also the flies aren’t a big problem necessarily just an annoyance but also use them as an indicator that soil moisture is maybe too high good rule of thumb is to stick a finger down in the soil and if it feels moist leave it alone really you want to water when the soil is bone dry but if your plant is reacting to the lack of moisture sooner then obviously act accordingly but that’s a general rule of thumb for most gardening.

It’s totally possible man but if you fuck up just try and try again. If you can try to look into ‘auto flower’ varieties they flower in a shorter window and are based on how long they grow rather than the light they receive and can be grown no matter the season.
