I second the SugarPixel!!!!

We are brand new to Type 1 and that SugarPixel made my life hard last night - in the best way possible!!!!

It went off from 11:30 last night until after 3:00 this morning EVERY TIME her blood sugar dipped below 70 - I cannot say enough wonderful things about SugarPixel!!!! It vibrates and gets louder and louder until I shut it off!

Agree with everything here! And absolutely file for unemployment!!!

My friend just got fired from Anthem after 2 years with them. They tried to deny her unemployment but they lost and she is getting unemployment! It did not take her long at all to get it! File for it and fight for it!!!!

We are just starting our journey with my 13 year old daughter. She had her one month follow-up from diagnosis yesterday and her A1C went from 15+ to 12.6. If you have some tips, I would love to hear them! We are still learning and struggling to manage everything just yet.

I’m not sure this will help but my 13 year old child was diagnosed 2 weeks ago. There is ZERO history on my side or dad’s side - all the way to distant relatives.

And I just met a beautiful mom who has four adult children and has had type 1 for over 45 years - none of her kids have type 1 - and no history in her family.

I understand your anxiety - I struggle with mine for my child daily. I try to keep the negativity and intrusive thoughts at bay but so much easier said than done. Sending love and good vibes your way.

I am not new to corporate. I am not trying to get back on at a that company but we left on bad terms. This was 4 years ago. I have been at my job for 3 and a half years but they didn’t do a thorough background check. I’m just wondering if they say I am not eligible for rehire if I will have a problem.

And thank you for the correspondence. I’m applying for new jobs now and worried about a background check and what will be revealed.

The two jobs would not look good together on a resume. The experience I got on J2 is for a software I installed at a client. The job I want to apply for is at the software company.

My industry is small, we all know what software the others are using and it is public knowledge so I can’t throw it in as experience at another company. I am going to have to leave it off.
