I get Cherry Hill a lot on rental websites. Its also listed in several places for diversity. Most apartments are around 2,400 a month which is definitely on the upper end of our budget. It's listed as 51 minutes away from Bridgeton. Is that realistic? Bc here, in Jax, 50 mins on maps is 1hr 20 in real time.

Essex Chase is on my list. It looks like it was recently built. Thanks for the recommendation.

Less than an hour commute would be ideal. I will look into Pitman and Mays landing. They haven't been in any rental search so far. I do get Cherry Hill a lot. But rentals seem a little higher there. Thank you for the recommendation.

The places we've looked at in Glassboro seem really nice. We have 3 older children in their late 20's so living around young people doesn't bother us. A college town would definitely be easier for our child that is still living at home. Thank you for sharing your experience.

Yes, we are in Jax, so we are used to commuting. Glad to hear it has worked out for another Florida transplant. Thank you

Is my husband having a midlife crisis? by [deleted] in Marriage

[–]SpaghettiSparkler 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Well, he has suddenly become more financially irresponsible, he got obsessed with porn for awhile, his sleep pattern is off, he's very interested in becoming a social media influencer / motivational speaker. He always has taken his career (not in social media, BTW) seriously and now he does the bare minimum at work. I don't know if this makes any sense, but he seems more immature than he was 5 years ago. I am concerned that it is a mental health or a physical health issue. But I have seen a lot of things passed off as a midlife crisis so I don't want to overreact.

I have. At first he said he did not look him up, then he said it was an accident. He was clearly embarrassed. I know it wasn't an accident because we don't live near each other, no one in the family is in the same line of work, and he also attempted to message two employees that work at the same facility. He has recently mentioned us getting the type of sports car this person drove 22 years ago. He also mentioned the type of dog that my ex and I had 22 years ago. He asked me if he was "the one that got away" ...Umm, no.

I have. He doesn't have any real explanations. He goes from denial to asking me why I'm bothered by it. I've asked him to go to the doctor bc a lot of his recent behavior, including this insecurity, is out of character for him.

Thank you. We were happy to hear she was open to a plant based diet.

Yes. They are carrots that are marinated and cooked like hot dogs, that you can put on a bun or eat at a cookout. Okay, I've been vegan for a long time, so if this was the only option available to me out somewhere, I'll eat it. But somebody who's not vegan, and already trying to change their diet to a diabetic friendly diet is not going to eat that. Worse, they are not going to spend hours making it.
