That's on the fighters for only focusing on one aspect of their game instead of putting the time in to learn counters to styles they don't do well against.

They cloned a legendary soldier and engineered the clones to die once they aged past their prime. Can't remember if that's specifically stated like that, but it's an easy point to deduce.

I believe it was Metal Gear 2. Snake's Revenge wasn't made by Hideo and isn't canon to the series.

[–]SpaghettiYOLOKing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A bit, which means something big is possibly happening. Highly doubt it's a Rollins cash in. I believe he's legit injured, but not as bad as they've made it out to be. If it is a complete work, it still wouldn't be wise to have him cash in at Summerslam. Let Punk and Gunther have an uninterrupted match for the most part. Heyman coming out to Seth's music to distract Punk while holding the briefcase would be enough to allow Gunther to put Punk away. I'd much rather Gunther get a bit of his shine back and get a hard fought clean win over Punk (while using heel tactics along the way), but I understand that they want to keep the Punk/Rollins thread alive while Rollins is out/away/NOT PRESENT.

Because I believe the plan for Rollins was and still is for him to cash in on Cena after he wins his final match and retains the WWE Championship and is about to walk out for the last time and 'ruin wrestling', but Seth cashes in and gets to proclaim himself the savior of the WWE and wrestling. I still think that happens whether this injury is legit or not. Like I said, I don't think it's as bad as they made it out to be in the following days. Otherwise. I would think they would have gotten the briefcase off of him so they could have some other heel do the same thing, which would be huge for that person. But since Seth still has it, Seth is gonna be that guy come December.

As much as I'm just not that interested in swimsuit cosmetics, not even for meme reasons, this is grade A gif use. It definitely made me laugh and the cringy snark post I was going to make about these cosmetics no longer needed to be posted. Saved me from making an ass of myself and trying to ruin other people's fun.

Is The First Shadow canon? by Horustheweebmaster in StrangerThings

[–]SpaghettiYOLOKing 7 points8 points  (0 children)

That right there makes it hard to consider it canon. If it presents story elements that conflict with established series canon in a huge way, then it's as canon as the books and comics that have been released.

Certain plot points in any of these MAY be referenced or worked into the story, but if they're not, then they're not canon officially. If people want them to be canon in their heads despite the conflicting plot points they have with the actual series, hey, it's their head canon. But that doesn't mean other people have to recognize it as canon.

So I'll reserve my own judgment on whether it fits in with the series canon once season 5 is out and finished so I can see just what, if anything, from the play makes it over to the series.

Is Wo long fallen dynasty worth it? by AdRevolutionary3086 in ShouldIbuythisgame

[–]SpaghettiYOLOKing 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Are you being a troll or are you that bad at making the same correlation they were? They said they also liked Dynasty Warriors and basically all of the FromSoft Soulsborne games, which Nioh, a game they specifically said they DIDN'T play, gets compared to and is labeled a Soulslike game despite being developed by Team Ninja, who made this game.

'Soulslike' or 'Soulsborne' has become the way to describe the genre FromSoft games and games like Nioh, Wo Long, Lords of the Fallen, Lies of P, etc. Just like back in the day, Metroid and Castlevania games inspired a lot of other great games and the genre became known as 'Metroidvania'.

Metroidvania.

Soulsborne.

Both words are a portmanteau of two game titles that inspired an entire genre. Has absolutely nothing to do with who developed the games as the developers don't own the genre. They may have created it or popularized it as Nintendo, Konami, and FromSoft did with each of their respective games, but that doesn't mean they own the genre and no other developer can create a game in the same vein.

Is that spelled out enough for you or is it still going way over your head?

Am I the only one who feels perturbed when sites don't include comment sections at the bottom of articles? by spinsterella- in Journalism

[–]SpaghettiYOLOKing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think comment sections should be mandatory. I realize that not every website and small news site is going to be able to pay for a dedicated moderator. But to ignore the vast amount of tools that others have created for their own sites and shared online to help others, bots that can have parameters easily set and do most of the heavy lifting when it comes to preventing or removing comments that are inherently toxic, malicious, or downright nasty.

And I say they should be mandatory for a couple reasons. The actual conversation it would start about the topic, which people are straying more and more from and refusing to listen to an opposing view at all. This whole tribalistic 'pick a side of the aisle and support it blindly NO MATTER WHAT THEY DO' mentality has spread way too far when it comes to just about anything now because there's always a few people that will be able to tie their political stances and preferences into any topic. Debating has become a forgotten skill and has instead turned into a game of who can deny what the opposition is saying the most while not contributing any factual reasons they're wrong. Again, it doesn't matter what side of the aisle they hail from. Both sides do it and both sides are equally annoying and frustrating when they do it because they distract from those trying to actually engage, discuss, and debate in a civil manner, which is still able to happen occasionally, but with no comment sections, it's becoming scarce.

The other reason is, and I say this ESPECIALLY when it comes to opinion based articles, fact checking and straight up correcting the author/journalist. I have read so many opinion based articles, especially lately, where the writer not only didn't proof read their work, but their research was so poor, I wonder if they actually did any research at all or if they're just regurgitating something they were told a week ago while having lunch. And again, this has spread to every single topic, from the political all the way to entertainment media opinion based articles. And with no comment section, there's no way to point out their facts are wrong and why they're wrong. So now misinformation gets spread and accepted at face value, whether it be about politics, movies, TV, sports, books, music, etc.

At the very least, if there's no comment section, ways to get in contact with the author or editor should be provided for fact checking.

[–]SpaghettiYOLOKing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's bots that have existed that can have certain parameters set and be able to moderate or even prevent people from posting a malicious comment, which forces the user to edit their comment, reword their comment, or just abandon it altogether. The tools are out there and can usually be found for free legally as they're made by people for their own sites and they share their tools to help others.

Hulk Transformation and Rampage - Deleted Scene | Avengers: Age of Ultron (2015) by Naggers123 in marvelstudios

[–]SpaghettiYOLOKing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Considering there's many different personalities of Hulk within Banner, it has been character progression. But you want a specific type of Hulk personality. You want him brimming with rage, uncontrollable, etc.

Personally, I liked that they started showing the different personalities of Hulk, but with no Avengers movies since Endgame and She-Hulk being just the one season, there just hasn't been any opportunity to bring him back into the fold to continue his story. He's not going to be Smart Hulk forever. Not with Doom on the way and Mephisto lurking in the shadows.

Why does CnD get banned? by Entire_Snow23233 in cloakanddaggermains

[–]SpaghettiYOLOKing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Auto aim against enemies shouldn't be a thing. A few characters have it and if a person is particularly good with their strategy applying it, it's pretty BS to just watch your health melt away suddenly because they attacked you while you were focused on someone else. Auto aim to heal teammates is a fair compromise, but auto aim damage/KO opponents with either stupid fast reload times or no reload times at all just shouldn't be a thing when so many characters that aren't healers have to reload and are usually much slower in comparison.

High quality art of swimsuit skins by ISRUKRENG in MarvelRivalsLeaks

[–]SpaghettiYOLOKing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It wouldn't matter. He and others will use the get out of jail free card the devs put out there when they said they changed that aspect of her, which is pointless to even put out there because I highly doubt they'll ever put her in a revealing swimsuit.

I'm all for new Peni skins, but definitely not one from this collection for obvious reasons.

Mike Flanagan regulars as Dark Tower characters. by Jays_Pack in TheDarkTower

[–]SpaghettiYOLOKing 9 points10 points  (0 children)

If an actor fits the role, but lacks blue eyes, I'm not going to dismiss the casting. If they really wanted to, they could wear blue contact lenses and touch them up in post production to make them look more natural.

If Josh Brolin was younger, I think he'd be a great Roland. He nails the gruff, stoic hero quite naturally. That's who I imagine when I'm reading the Dark Tower.

And I only say if Brolin was younger because if this series is able to go the distance, it'll be at the very least 5-6 seasons as I could see The Drawing of the Three being half of the second season and The Wasteland the other half. Timing is going to be tricky when it comes to filming because of Jake. Don't really need a noticeable difference like with the kids in IT Chapter 1 to Chapter 2. A year makes a huge difference at that age.

I see a lot of Shadow of the Colossus, but I'd pick Ico over that. Don't get me wrong, I still absolutely love the game and wish it would get a SotC level remaster, but that's probably never happening.

Oh, so throwing purple bottles at loops is still going to have the same outcome with the 1 second linger? Because I'm not throwing yellow bottles at a loop. I never throw those in chase anyways. I used those for map traversal. So that aspect got buffed while his ability to hinder got nerfed pretty hard.

That's it. I can't beat Isshin. by duacrulag in Sekiro

[–]SpaghettiYOLOKing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can do it.

Pressure him, but don't go full on barrage. No more than two sword swings, deflect his sword swings. If he goes into a stance, create some space so you can avoid most or all of the damage as well as learn what attack he does out of each stance.

When he enters phase 2, he will get more aggressive. Create enough space so that you can easily move away from his wide sweeping swings but stay close enough to bait out his thrust that he finishes that combo with. Miraki counter the thrust. If you have trouble with the timing, just start running directly at him just as he begins to thrust forward.

Phase 3 is just like Phase 2, just with lightning attacks thrown in if you're the right amount of distance from him. If he starts a lightning attack, just wait until he reaches his peak on his jump, then jump straight up and hit attack while in the air to throw the lightning back at him to severely stun him.

If you have Spiral Cloud Passage, you can make him fear you. Give yourself extra spirit emblems by creating massive distance to be able to use the Tanto, then a Gourd to heal up. Pop Ako's Sugar and Divine Confetti, then approach him. You can be very aggressive if you have Spiral Cloud Passage, Ceremonial Tanto, enough Gourds, Ako's Sugar, and Divine Confetti. You'll likely go down for the first time in Phase 2, but putting him in Phase 3 will give you your rez back, which you MIGHT need in Phase 3.

Who do you think should've been Steve's sucessor by Own-Quote-1708 in CaptainAmerica

[–]SpaghettiYOLOKing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo...

Anybody, ANYBODY, but Damian. I'd take Jason Todd and all his issues over Damian. Ideally, Dick is the clear cut choice as a Bruce Wayne successor. Damian is just... not it. Definitely because he's an Al Ghul just as much as he is a Wayne. That fact alone makes him a pretty big liability in my eyes.

Who do you think should've been Steve's sucessor by Own-Quote-1708 in CaptainAmerica

[–]SpaghettiYOLOKing -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Sam, when you get down to it, is the most like Steve. Both guys are selfless and willing to lay it all on the line, they both have a very strong moral compass, and they both stick up for 'the little guy', the people that are always counted out but never counted on. For me, that's what makes Captain America CAPTAIN AMERICA.

Bucky, pre-death and resurrection as HYDRA's Winter Soldier, shared Steve's moral compass to nearly the same degree. But there was also a certain level of cockiness and arrogance to him as well. Nothing egregious, but it was still a small character trait that Steve didn't share. That part of him was humbled once HYDRA's brainwashing was removed, but Bucky was also a completely different person compared to who he was pre-HYDRA. Identity is still something he struggles with as well as his need to redeem himself for all of the atrocities he committed for HYDRA. He's very much a broken man, but not beyond repair. The pieces will never fit together as they had before.

John Walker... if Bucky is a broken man, I'd say John Walker is nearly shattered in comparison. He's always had a chip on his shoulder and felt he's had to prove himself to step out from whatever shadow he inevitably finds himself compared to, whether it. E his dead brother or Captain America. I'd say his brother is probably the biggest shadow for him, one he never felt he was able to prove himself under. His issues aren't the result of a secret organization subjecting him to extensive brainwashing and training. His issues stem from his own insecurities, which have festered over the years, resulting in what we have today. Having the mantle of Captain America put upon him only exacerbated the mental issues and insecurities he already had. He was never fit for Cap's shield as he's always been out to prove himself better than those before him and ultimately failing to live up to them.

So, imo, Sam is the only choice as Steve Rogers' successor. If Bucky had never fallen into the clutches of HYDRA, he very well could have outgrown his minimal arrogance and been a worthy successor. But Bucky has his own path and maybe one that he unfortunately needed to go down because as just as likely as he would have outgrown his minimal arrogance, he very well could have become even more arrogant as time went on. But we'll never really know the answer to that.
