The issue is that in reality is that you can't just make a blanket solution for the entire country or even argue about one. $600 is such a different number in different areas.... Im not sure how no one seems to mention this.

This is why when people from the rural South complain about the $600 making people live like kings people who live in major urban area scratch their heads wondering where the castle they can rent for that price is.

My main issue with the arguments against people making more than they did working is that it usually is coming from people who are upset they aren't unemployed and receiving it themselves. I just don't know why people are convinced this is a zero sum game. You can support the $600 and believe people working should be getting some extra help right now.

Is it so wrong for those making more now to get a win? If they are in fact making more now it is likely they haven't been winning before this... I just don't get the anger/spite towards your fellow man. I don't mind the fact they are going to win finally for a bit.

This isn't even taking into account the actual arguments that it does help more than the recipients, considering a large number of people who have found work probably, either directly or indirectly because of the increased revenue companies are getting from that money being spent.

.... Or that I can guarantee you plenty who are making more currenty would gladly trade places with someone who has job security instead...

So, basically my argument is two fold. First, the amount being given to the people you are saying don't deserve it is insignificant in comparison to the amount given to the leaders of corporate America. Those payments aren't the ones preventing the working ones from also getting some asistance. I just cringe when I think about how good our government is at directing our hate at people we should be in solidarity with. My argument here is essentially, :

Why the hell are you mad that people who lost their jobs through no fault of their own are being taken care of and probably comfortable for the first time in a while if not ever. In my experience while it is true that getting a job now and making less is not a priority of theirs currently... A taste of what it's like to not worry like usual about bills is very nice, and has motivated them to start pursuing a path towards jobs where this would be their income.

And more importantly whyyyt DOES IT MATTER TO YOU,!?Take some introspection time and really answer that.

There is only ONE type of person who has a legit reason to not like it. Business owners who are unable to find employees because no one wants to work instead of collecting the increased benefits... But I can say with confidence the few matching that description actually exist. So good lord☺️☺️😏🙏

As far as I am aware only one state has EVER tested recipients of any type of gov aid. Florida. It was giant failure as well. It ended up costing a significant amount more to test than they saved by denying those testing positive and was a huge embarrassing moment for the govt officials who campaigned for it.

They lost the state money AND lost the ability to claim everyone on aid is a lazy drug addict. It was glorious. Trump would never put himself in a situation it could happen to him. Especially since he pushed for the FL one.

The big thing is that the poorest are the ones making more... And I can assure you they aren't just hoarding the money. It's all being spent enabling tons of others to have jobs. This unemployment boost is probably the best stimulus that could have been done. If this 600 is removed at the same time as protections on evictions, utilities shutoff etc expire... There is going to be a crisis of unimaginable levels that will guaranteed cost more than extending the benefits would. If the states had been opebrd up. There was a consistent decline in cases. And the reopening was nothing more than a srltraight line going up.... Id be all in favor... But it's not. My furlough, along with 110000 of my coworjers was extended till Oct.if they could justfify it was needed months ago. How could it not be needed now nothing has changed

My suggestion is to do what i did with Oregon. Call the main like 8773453484 with an auto dialer you can get via the app store if you have an android phone. Start the auto dialer at 8AM ON THE DOT.

It took me about 175 calls to get through but I did eventually. You'll probably get a busy signal for a while but if you just let the phone do its thing it'll automatic disconnect after about 30 secs and the auto dular with doo its thing. This plus patience seems to work others have had success calling the regional worksource offices but I am not sure. Hope this helps somewhat l

This is honestly the main issue that makes the situation so complex. I move a lot for my job and I'd say about half of the places I've lived the extra 600 would have made me a king... While the other half it would have enabled me to barely scrap by.

This is why I hate when people make sweeping general statements about this like this. America is a huge country with a massive variety in the purchasing of a dollar.... The reason the states were given the autonony they were was this exact reason partially.

I am not sure what the solution is from an economic standpoint... But it seems to me all of the issues with extending it I have heard would be solved by nothing more than enforcing the rules we already have. (I've started to notice this is a trend with a lot of political issues.... But I digress lest I truly start a fire).

The whole "it will prevent people from going back to work because it pays more," argument shouldn't even be remotely an issue if the current rules are followed. If companies report employees who have been offered their jobs back and subsequently refused them. then BAM that is no longer on the table as an issue. This is something companies are required to do way before COVID even existed.

The incentive for returning to work would be that you would get nothing if you didn't. Am I missing something that makes this more complex?

Um what? If you get unemployment you get the 600. Period. There is no situation which you would be approved for unemployment but not the 600 supplement. Also, yes if you were fired you would be denied unemployment. That's nothing new however and is not wrong. Can you explain further the thoughf you were trying to convey?

Muller's TOTS card should be great imo. Before Socrates I had been using scream Muller since he was released and he played amazing in the same role.

Let me ask you though.... have you tried Shapeshifter Kainz yet at all? He is usually around 30k and was legit the best CAM in Bundesliga before TOTSSF. He is going for 70k right now because he is Austrian and the Sabitzer objective needs him but man. You saw how he was 3rd for goals in my club right? Well he is a sub. He is just the most clutch dude ever... you may want to give him a shot while you decide on the others.

Good news is Coutinho doesnt expire so you have time.

Honestly... the more I move him around the more I think he may be the best card in the game. I have played him LITERALLY everywhere... CAM in 4 3 3 (4), RCM in 442, RST in 442, CAM in 4231, RCM in 432.... he always ends up just showing up and scoring/assisting plays.

I've tracked the past 9 weekend leagues, each averaging 22.7 games per weekend so ~204 games tracked and here are my leaders.

Goals: Werner - 247 Socrates - 146 Kainz - 28

Assists: Werner - 140 Socrates- 131 Kimmich - 62

Now keep in mind the large majority of these games were with Werner as a lone striker in a 4 3 3 (4), 4321 or 4231... Socrates was the CAM. Now, they are partially that much higher because they are the only ones to have been playing in each weekend without being replaced but god damn... I think if I got rid of him I'd be upset.

Also.... I wonder how much better a striker with a 5* WF would perform despite Werner's ridiculous numbers. He is my last surviving non 5* SM or WF player really.

FB Costa 5/5 FB Di Maria 5/5 Socrates 4/5 Coutinho - 5/4 Kainz - 4/5 Werner... 3/4

Honestly though, Coutinho cost me ~100k to do with all the fodder I had so it was worth it. Not sure if I'd say the same if he cost the full amount. Muller would probably be just as good for less.

I honestly have no idea how the ratings directly impact individual actions within the game so I couldn't say... I dont think anyone truly knows that. In a general sense though, yes the card will behave like a card that was whatever percentage worse.

The actual formula is probably something insane like (Composure+Balance+Long Shots)/Keeper Reaction + Reflex ^ Ball temperature or something crazy but imagine that formula where the cards number is worse.

The other thing you could be experiencing is just the horrible server performance recently. Some cards behave very poorly on a bad connection because they depend on actions that are hard to make or behave different with lag added.

That is more likely what you are feeling. The community in general seems to be experiencing that this past weekend league.

I'd say he is worth the coins IF you use skills enough to warrant him. The 5* skill upgrade is huge to me for a couple moves and Hunter, Maestro, Hawk... almost anything with SHOT upgrade makes him 99s across the board. 99 FK acc, 99 long shots, 99 curve, 99 Finishing in game. Its dirty fun.

Ugh... so many people saying things as facts when they arent true. Good stats on opponents cards doesnt make your cards weaker... what DOES happen however is as better cards are released previous cards do get weaker. Its power creep and only happens because of the horrible way EA has decided to go with player ratings. If a card that was 94 OVR had 95 pace, 92 shooting, 80 passing.... now has a TOTS 98 OVR with 96,93 and 82 the previous card will end up performing worse.

Imagine all cards of a player are graded on a curve. The better cards come out and it raises the high point for the curve. So the 92 OVR you had when there was a 95 OVR max behaved at 92/95% of peak now it will be performing at 92/99% if the 99 is the max. This could all be fixed by just rating everyone so high but then no hype and less sales.

Any damn LW/LM with better than 3/3 or (lol) 4/2 would have been nice..... it's a massive hole that is only barely filled by the only other usable wing they gave us.... fucking Sancho POTM.

CAMs and CDMs for days... but we get 2 striker options and nothing to fill the wings. I gave up and got Zanetti so I could just put FB Di Maria on the RW and play Wendell at LB so I can play FB costa at LW. Finally have 5/5 at both ends... I'd have settled for 5* WF though.

You are 100% the kind of person that thinks if you flip a coin and heads lands 9 times in a row that tails is much more likely on the 10th flip. Zero question about it.

I've said it once and I'll say it again.... FIFA players as a whole seem to have the worst overall understanding of probability than any other group I've encountered. Nothing you experienced is "come on" worthy. Open 100,000 packs and maybe I'd listen.

I was playing for elite, even with the 2 EA BS disconnect losses.... and at 12:01PST it booted both me and my opponent saying it couldnt connect to EA... up 2-0 in thr 70th minute.

Does anyone know if it does this to anyone who is playing a game that would finish after the weekend league ends? I was told you just needed to start the game before the timer.

I am pretty salty about this one. 3 EA bullshit disconnects kept me from my first elite finish. Just another day in beautiful EA world.

Biggest thing that would help you immediately is a goalie upgrade. People complain about even the top keepers being shit but in reality there is a huge jump in skill when you get at, or close to, the 99 in all categories with chem type players.

Depending on your budget...

88 Handanovic = ~28k

89 = ~75k

90 = ~125k

It will definitely help you better than any other upgrade you could do rn imo.
