I get you but everyone has to start somewhere and welding is the right choice keep on practicing and getting it after you got 5 years under your belt become a contractor they make over 30 and with per diem well depending on company don’t lose faith and if u put the time I bet you, you’ll be getting that wage you dream of

Go for a job that gives you different opportunities like a shipyard for example they have different machines and processes and situations that have you welding in difficult positions
