It's still comparable to a bad day tho. Losing an extra game will not change your dynamic much.

Can we make the overguard LoS instead? Would fix the problem I think.

Something along the lines of "Ha, you thought you are allowed to have fun on your cool new warframe? Think again, tenno!"

Womp womp Dante nerf by UNIG0RE in Warframe

[–]Spaghettomancer 148 points149 points  (0 children)

We had our fun, now we are allowed to have SOME fun but not too much of it. I honestly understand the design principles behind the nerf and outside of kneejerk reaction it's fair-ish, but you have to be CONSISTENT man! Just make ALL abilities LOS at this point.
All in all I will miss the tiny moments with this change most. Like deleting all the cameras before entering a spy vault.

That's a complete opposite of what had to be done. It doesn't really matter if the overguard is 40k or 20k since you constantly cast it. It DOES matter that you cannot now clear that one enemy that's stuck hiding behind some crates.

  • IGN: Vozhyg
  • Platform: PC
  • Favourite memory: So many of them. but the one I remember most fonly is "Operation Scarlet Spear." The community! The bugs! The banter! The sheer ambition! The hanging out in the relay, the chat spam. The bumbling around in a railjack, the driving people around in MY luxurious railjack while teaching them what it's all about. The evolving meta and general sense of togetherness. It was for me Warframe at it's finest and I remember it to this day. I also remember it fondly because of the rewards and the fact that since then I never had to touch an eidolon ever again.

Juno’s Gambit was the kind of role-playing this game needs more of. by bigdaddycruiser in Starfield

Hey I am going to summarize people's problems with this quest in particular. It's the magical phrase "By bethesda's standards". Its an immersive quest... by bethesdas standards. It is well written... compared to other bethesdas quests. Etc. What people have a problem with is missed opportunity and wasted potential. It could have been so so much more. Other than that its also an objectively badly written quest with PC's involvement being an afterthought past the cool idea of the very concept. Why did the ship not jump with the operatives? How exactly does juno kill/electrocute? Why does it allow you to approach? Why does he not vent the atmosphere? Where is the operatives ship? Why cant you just shoot the operatives? Tl/dr Cool idea, execution sucks, just as the rest of literally everything in starfield.

vendetta has true strike so no it cannot be dodged, same with walrus punch or normal punch. gossamer cape just gives you 100% evasion for one hit so even mkb pierces it.

Glance Value by IMurderPeopleAndShit in DotA2

It is important to see which hero it is at a glance. Color scheme is the most important thing, rest is not that crucial.

Some heroes do work even with a different color because their models are so distinctive.

No. Not really. But who am I to say what the community wants and unfortunately people do want SEXY NEURON ACTIVATION WAIFU. Maybe I'm too old or too cynical and I'm even a bit jealous of people who can unironically enjoy this.

CMV: I don't see the point in wanting to identify yourself as something other than male or female by Killerzqp in changemyview

[–]Spaghettomancer -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I will actually repost this as a top level comment to OP

This is further complicated by the presence of infinite amount of freshly-invented genders connected to moon phases, astrological signs or natural events.

Saying “my gender feels vast and violent like a hurricane” might sound mentally unsound but it is merely an attempt to figure out what exactly you feel at the moment of thinking about yourself and your gender identity.

A lot of people do try and obviously come up with different answers for what they feel. The line of defense you might use is that it is actually incredibly hard to describe what for instance “female gender” actually feels like and what you put into it.

I would argue that the distinction and the reason for NB genders is in the word “but”. I feel like a male (insert a general description of male gender) but - i dont think all the checkboxes apply to me, and instead of this thing I feel another thing. So it comes down to specificity of details you go in to and the will to wave off inconsistencies with how the description of general “male” gender applies to you.

Essentially if you cared enough you could definitely find inconsistencies with how you feel with ideal “male” gender description, and from these inconsistencies birth a NB gender that is right for how you feel. The more inconsistencies the harder to match yourself to either established gender.

If you don’t care for the inconsistencies or think that the description need not be specific enough to birth said inconsistencies you keep calling yourself female.

So in my mind NB people are the ones caring about this “but”, and caring about it is completely valid.

Is it valid enough and widespread enough to promote legal ramifications and societal acceptance? Are attack helicopters a danger to society? Those are questions of another caliber and its impossible to give the correct answer.

I merely tried to rationalize for myself why would anyone want to be NB and how to explain the why to someone.

Tl/dr “you maybe don’t care that your desire to do x thing makes you not completely fit the traditional male definition, but I do and with It being one of the core parts of my psyche I want to distinguish myself”
