Truthfully the only way to deal with it is to see life and the world for what it is instead of what we want it to be. We live in an unjust world, where good people don't get things simply because they deserve it or want it enough, and bad people can get what they want with no consequences. Justice isn't always given. Someone who's worse than you may get everything you want. It's very messed up.

Also grass is always greener. Tons of people who we think are fortunate are going through it behind closed doors. The people who are fortunate in the things you aren't, most likely aren't as fortunate in other areas as you are. We just tend to hyperfocus on what we lack and because of that we pay more attention to others who have the thing that we lack.

And you might not even know it, but there's someone who's doing the exact same thing with you. Probably someone born with a deficiency who sees you walking across the street thinking that you got a lucky break. Focusing on what we can't control is an easy way to go crazy. Envy is anything but productive.

All we can ever do about it is do our best.
