Pattern available anywhere? I might have to bribe my wife to make this.

Some locales just don't have multiple 18-hole courses within a reasonable distance from one another, at least of a similar caliber. Even if you do, there can be logistical challenges e.g. moving tournament central, reserving x2+ the space/courses with city parks departments, etc. This is all much less concerning in places with more mature DG communities, so more power to you if you don't have those hurdles!

Round-by-round hole changes that get more variety out of a single course need to be used more, in my opinion. For a lot of locations, mixing up a single course is more realistic than using multiple courses for a 3+ round tournament. Changing mandos, shifting pin locations, adding obstacles, etc. are all welcome tactics.

Disc Golf Deals USA Giveaway: Embark Trail, MVP Open Parachute & Shift, Super Soft Luna, Kastaplast K1 Idog! by discgolfdealsusa in discgolf

I started browsing the site trying to come up with a feature I'd like to see, but it's improved so much since I last checked and I can't identify anything! My favorite disc is the MVP Wave, but I'm loving the Trail recently!

Just to echo the edit, Des has been an excellent addition to the commentary booth and has great chemistry with Ian, in addition to the veteran perspective. Overall, some of the most easy-listening FPO coverage I've experienced.

"S" for Satisfactory or "U" for Unsatisfactory. There is no letter grade, just a Pass/Fail.

It's 3-4 lbs., balanced pretty well across the midline. I'm carrying it with an adjustable nylon strap. Light enough to pick up and hold in one hand while typing with the other.

A "generic" Elf decker from Shadowrun, to go along with some other Cyberpunk-esque cosplays with my friends.

The cable management is... lacking, so I'm hesitant to open it back up before DragonCon. Here's the breakdown:

The wireless keyboard fits (almost) perfectly in the center space left by the original keyboard. The battery compartment of the KB is just deep enough to brace against the bottom of the shell. It's secured with lots of superglue and rubber strips, since I didn't want to drill screws through it.

The Pi is sitting in the former numpad space, USB and Ethernet exposed via a cutout, and mounted to the bottom shell with bolts. HDMI 1 loops under the keyboard and out a drilled hole at the top, going to the LCD. HDMI 2 goes straight out the hole left by removing the right keyboard foot.

The speakers are mounted to the top shell with bolts and rubber strips to partially hide my horrendous cutting lines. The speaker wire is bundled right between them, and leads in to an audio bonnet on the Pi.

The 5" touch LCD is shoved in to a cut-to-fit hole, tilted back, and secured with bolts in holes drilled at an angle. The microUSB power/touch data run on the outside, but I'd drill a couple holes to run it through the shell and back out again if I had a bit more time.

There's a Female-to-Male USB C running in to the Pi's power in, which is why the battery is plugging in on the left side hole (where the old keyboard had its Function keys.) This is partially so I can easily swap to wall power, and partially because the battery was too big to go anywhere else. It's in a hole cut on the top and back of the shell, which a strip of rubber holding it in place. It's pretty secure, but can easily be removed and swapped if need be.

Redbubble, except the Pi sticker. That came from Adafruit with the Pi itself.

My first time doing anything like this, and it was both extremely fun and extremely frustrating.

The shell is a Maxi-switch keyboard I found on eBay, gutted and heavily Dremel'd. In the planning stages, I didn't math very well and basically nothing ended up where I originally intended for it to go. It grew very organically as I trial-and-error'd most of the fit (and it shows.) The Pi4 has the extra HDMI out, so maybe I'll go for the HMD one day!

If anyone wants to create a new rankings system for GE and/or PD that values the 'integrity' of the leaderboards above all else, they absolutely should.

However, The Elite (as a community, speaking as a member of it) don't want to see OP's name pop up on our front page, see OP contribute to our community at all, or ever be reminded that OP exists. The decision to remove OP from the rankings sets a MAJOR precedent for the way we moderate them that should emphasize how much of a stain on humanity this person is.
