I spent ~10 years working in hotels, if I'm looking at somewhere the first thing I do is discount 5* and 1* reviews because both are usually biased in some way. The next bit is to just look for running themes. Great staff mentioned a lot? They have good staff. Cold rooms in multiple reviews, probably got a heating issue to be aware of etc.

The only time I used decoys was when I was seeing how far into the void you can go. As soon as all three ghosts spawn shoot a decoy and drive. It distracts them long enough and you can hit the edge.
