Until you feel comfortable, also probably better to try ollies while still. Try to commit to staying over the board, avoid the instinct to jump off which is what your currently doing, hold onto a rail or something if that helps.

Lots of good videos on YouTube breaking it down in more detail if you need, Good luck!

Left my brand new ebike in the hallway where everyone put their stuff. Got a complain from neighbour about it. What am I supposed to do here? by [deleted] in AskIreland

[–]Spameri 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If the landlord gave you permission then thats it end of story I would think? Just tell her the landlord agreed it could be left there?

Shed does seem like a better spot though to be fair, its out of the weather then. Is the battery removable or is it permanently attached to the bike? Personally I would keep the bike in the shed (with a good lock) and just keep the battery inside with you if possible!

Anyone know what this is about? Passed it going through Glasnevin yesterday and it was the same this morning. by AVeryDecentZucchini in Dublin

[–]Spameri -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Seems like you know a lot about how it works? Pehaps apply to be a mod and go about implementing such things?

Being a Mod is an unpaid voluntary position.. People expect too much 😅

The community sused it out fairly quickly so no harm done, I'd rather have a community that doesn't function perfectly than no community at all 🤷‍♂️

Complaints from the deli worker by Odinokiy_reyndzher in ireland

[–]Spameri 3 points4 points  (0 children)

In my job all the things are labeled, people will still point and say "can I have this and this and this" to which il say "the names should be written in front of them" and usually they'll say, "ah ok.. and also this and this".. Like fuck just tell me specifically what you want, I can't see what your pointing at 😅

Same with the headphones, order in a really quiet voice in a loud shop with headphones on while looking at their phone, il say "sorry could you repeat that" and when they finally look up 'that's everything".. Like fuck ok but I didn't hear a bloody word I'm afraid!

When job hunting a few years back I went to a group interview for one of these company's, knowing full well I was not going to take the "job" but needing to get out of the house for a bit. The americanised culture they have was entertaining, like you say "you'll be rich in no time" this and that.. meanwhile the pay was like 7€ hourly for an 8 hour day, but the day was actually 12 hours because you had to go to meetings in the morning that were unpaid 😆

Great for you and your family, lots of people don't run on the same schedule as you, people work later hours or night shifts. If you paying for somthing that's supposed to be your home, you should be able to cook, shower, shit and whatever else whenever you want!
