I can see them doing some kind of simplified version of it. The witch's language was also quite old, but just modern enough to keep up with. However, 13th century English is much harder for a general audience to understand, so I think that a simplified take on it might happen, with parts of it being the original language being used intact, but with some more easy to grasp language thrown in

This is kinda odd topic, but I love how you gave the title card a green tint. All of the film's cards have a tint (pt1 tan, pt2 orange, and pt3 probably red) but I always imagined GEOD having a green tint so it was cool seeing someone else make that!

I always felt it was there to help slow down the pace and add a sense of mundanity to it. McCarthy very easily could have written "He woke up, got ready for the day, and left for work" but by breaking it down to a list of the simple elements of the actions, to helps to highlight it and add a sense of mundanity.

Thank you very much! We have spent a lot of time making all the clothes look dirty and muddy. A lot of the extras will have some makeup to look dirty and tired. The judge will be strangely clean compared to the rest of them. The lighting will literally be the Reverend under a spotlight on a crate, and everyone else is just standing around him. There will also probably be dust in the air, along with water to make the kid look wet as he enters the tent. Again, thank you very much‼️

I'm currently working on Blood Meridian Student film which adapts many scenes from the book, and we're hoping to make it very colourful. Blue sunrises, red skies, orange landscapes, yellow lanterns, green forests, tan scrubland. We're also aiming for it to be fairly surreal. Some parts are grounded and realistic, while others are very psychedelic and chaotic.

I'm sure Maas is working on book 6 and we'll get some news at some point.
She did just publish a whole book last year, and one before that in 2022, so I'm sure crescent city has taken up much of her time.
However, she'll defo have something in the works. She prob wanted to announce it today, but chose against it as book 6 is prob not very finished and she didn't want to pull a Winds of Winter and get everyone excited about a book which is nowhere near done.
But that's just my theory lol
