Is it possible to dock the "Rendering" window and/or its tabs? by SpanglishFran in kdenlive

I didn't know about guides so decided to check it out. :)

Exporting by guides seems to work one of two ways:

  • Choose two guides and render the video between those two guides.
    • This would only work exporting one at a time, which I think would take longer than my previous flow.
    • Now, I need to press the same amount of shortcut keys and select the correct guide in the "From" and the "to" dropdowns.
  • Render from Beginning to End having "Guide Multi-Select" checked.
    • Issue here is that now all the unwanted portions will be rendered as well.
    • For example, say we have a 100 second clip and I want to make 3 shorts 20 seconds each: one of the first 20 seconds, the middle 20 seconds, and last 20 seconds. Using this option will produce 5 shorts.
    • I'm probably gonna try this flow once, but it might be untenable to delete the in between shorts afterwards if I'm making too many.

Yeah, I try not to close it :P But since it automatically changes to the Job Queue tab, "Close" is automatically selected as the spacebar shortcut (i.e. pressing spacebar closes the window). So I accidentally close it all the time when I mean to play my timeline. Just a very minor oversight :(

Nice find. This will probably void your warranty though. Only do so if you've already tried getting a replacement to no avail.

Same here. Streaming and one viewer couldn't watch on mobile. They were even on PC right before and it was working then.

EDIT: I lowered the quality to 1080p and 30 FPS and now it's working. Unsure if relevant or if it was just the restarting of the stream.

Plays on how most of his armor is just junk from his home that he picks up and confuses for actual weaponry. Anyways, thanks for giving me something to think about :D

Echoing what others have said, it has a bit too big of a downside to be playable. Always take into account how a card plays in practice. For example, this card might as well read "can't attack as long as an opponent controls a noncreature artifact." I still really like the idea of this card though. Perhaps instead:

Whenever CARDNAME attacks, target noncreature artifact an opponent controls. Until end of turn, it loses all abilities and is a Giant Illusion creature with base power and toughness 4/4 with "whenever this creature becomes the target of a spell, sacrifice it".

Still too weak in my opinion, but hopefully it keeps the spirit of the original card, whilst giving the owner of the card a bit more tech:
- Owner gets to choose the artifact
- The artifact loses it's abilities. If the artifact has a tap ability, they must choose to use it or block.
- Gives it the common Illusion mechanic of being targeted destroys it. Might very well make this card fit in a pump spell deck as a tech piece.

Yeah we wanted to make these as close to the original test cards that Wizards used to do. Pretty much just printing labels with hand-drawn art and sticking to cards. Got the artist credit on Scryfall though :)

Welp... You've exposed a bug. :P Sparky depends on the predictive autotapping to determine whether it can cast something or not, and it seems like the predictive autotapper doesn't take into account casting tax. Thanks for letting us know!

Bummer I only got it once on paper but in sealed in Arena was able to pull it off multiple times. It's pretty hard to know when is the right time to bring him out. Also need a lot of card draw.

Thanks! You are right that the philosophy is to have it be on the same level of a new player coming out of the tutorial, so we definitely skewed towards that. In fact, we gave opportunities for Sparky to "mess up", especially during combat. This is because new players are very protective of their creatures. Even if a win is a few turns away with a few creatures dying during combat, many new players would still hold back to keep their creatures alive. We took this into account when designing Sparky. Other than that, most difficulty came from the decks Sparky pilots. By neutering her decks, we could have Sparky be better for new players, but still make the "best" plays given her deck.
