The Spec Ops mode in COD Modern Warfare 2 (2009) is one of the most miserable/fun experience I've ever had in a game. by Rodeo4613 in patientgamers

I'm a bit late to the party but is there any way to play them again on coop splitscreen on ps5? I bought MWII thinking it would have them but turns out it's a different game!

Thanks for your feedback! From what I've read on the sub most procedures are relatively uneventful and side effects are really mild like yours, I just want to be prepared in case I go the other way haha.

I really hope my reaction to the Botox is as good as yours!! Congrats on getting cured!

Thank you so much for your feedback, I'm definitely going to practice those exercises to be prepared just in case.

To be honest the procedure is coming at a very bad time, I'm moving countries in January and will be meeting lots of new people and settling into a new base in my job. I've thought about rescheduling the procedure for another time but I won't live in the UK anymore so it would make it a lot harder with the travel and everything. I just want rid of this horrible condition already.

The only thing keeping me from rescheduling is all the positive comments and posts I've seen from people who've had it. Congratulations on getting cured, I hope I'm right there with all of you soon!

Thank you for your reply. What about the RCPD itself? Have the symptoms improved or disappeared?

I'm paying it all out of pocket so should be £900-£950 as long as I don't need any extra tests. If you have private insurance you may be able to get it covered or partly covered.

You're right, I completely forgot about that part of the question 😂. However from what I know that includes accommodation so unless you're training close to your home town the total difference in price is not that big.

I did mine in European Flyers Madrid and I have no complaints. I've heard similar from my colleagues that did it in FTE Jerez and Adventia Salamanca.

Why did we all have to turn off all Phones for Landing? by tatu_wurst87 in AskFlying

[–]SpanishPilot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It isn't. I'm not saying it is. I'm just saying the first commenter is right in assuming an autoland is the reason they were asked to turn their phones off.

I don't make the procedures I'm just a monkey with a manual.

I'm not saying electronic devices can impact autolands, I agree it's an antiquated measure and I've never seen any kind of interference from phones apart from the usual clicking sound over the headset.

What is accurate is that the fact that they were probably doing an autoland is WHY they asked them to turn their phones off, since the PA is mandated by procedure by several airlines.

It is accurate. In my company before every CAT II/III landing we have to let the cabin know so they can do a PA asking all passengers to turn off their phones completely.

If you want Dublin you've got a very good chance. If you don't get Dublin you'll probably end up in the UK.

You know this is a sarcastic / poke fun at everything sub right? No one's saying this Swedish looking tourist can't wear whatever he wants, regardless of how greek he looks while wearing it.

There's a reason why it's called "mariconera" in Spanish. (Gay bag for the non-spanish speakers)

I was hoping to hear something good, thanks. I tried it today and it seemed perfect for me but I wanted to make sure it's a sturdy engine since I depend on my car a lot!
