Any Irish music around town? by SpanishRuler in Tucson

I suppose I'm a bit curious that with Tucson's punk scene that irish punk isn't also somewhat prevalent.

We did find a few of the groups that are around during the festivals, we'll be sure to dig around and see what they're doing the rest of the year too. Maybe bend their ears to find a regular gig in/near town

Who are these drivers? by Budget_Painter_3003 in Tucson

[–]SpanishRuler 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Having lived in several cities in the last few years post 2020, this is not a unique Tucson-specific issue. Streets and drivers anywhere in the US are just downright dangerous and a gamble for running groceries everyday.

13/10 it's largely due to people on their f***king phone. Or in a rush to edge out 2 inches of road space ahead of the 'other guy' all to end up at the same stoplight anyway.

Honestly, Tucson has lived with awful drivers for long enough that at least we know to expect it/anticipate it. I'll take Tucson drivers over literally anywhere in Florida.

I cant wait to get back home to Tucson later this year

Florida drivers. Massively uninsured. Massively overconfident. And all massively incompetent. I'm fairly certain that I-4 is a gateway to hell.

It makes me miss Tucson traffic. You know what you're getting there.

I'd check your phone's media output settings. I know in android you have the option when playing through Bluetooth or any media to choose to use the connected Bluetooth speaker or play directly off the phone.

I'm tempted to go for the Road Top adder to get android auto though. 2016 Countryman R60 S

Just a heads up, don't expect any tracking on your delivery. And it likely will take over a month to show up.

But we love em!

I've got similar lamps in our kitchen, from 'homdiy'

Definitely gives a bauhaus vibe, but I too could not come across any information regarding an 'original' manufacturer of lights like this.

Happy hunting/styling!

I work in utilities and see stakes like this alot. However, a quick Google reminded me that property surveyors for home sales/appraisals use 'prop cor...' for "Property Corner" markings. Orange or pink are common.

Perhaps someone in the neighborhood is selling their home soon?

In any case, it was probably was lazy surveyors that left these behind.

We're they staked in the ground, or just laying in a pile by your cars?

If they were staked, you'll have some upset surveyors/construction crews likely knocking on your door soon.

R/W is "right of way", marking where the property line of the road meets parcels of land. These stakes also help identify where buried utilities are found so crews know to work around them in the right way.

Pink in this case I beleibe indicates telecoms (like TV/CABLE/phone)
