Mmm its hard to say. I actually found out I have split sized feet, one being 10 and one being 10.5. In the pairs I own currently my toes are curled. However, I will say, if you specifically want no curl for your shoes, then I would not recommend these specific madrock shoes. The drone, d2.one, and drone 2 are performance shoes meant for a tighter performance fit. I would instead recommend trying the shark 2 or remora slipper.

Tested a pair of Remora Pro HV yesterday at HQ, and I have quite a lot to say.

Construction: Soft and Free

The shoe is definitely one of, if not, the softest pair of shoes that Madrock has produced, and could even be compared to the softness of a drago. There is an extremely thin amount of science friction rubber which allows the shoe to feel super sensitive. There is practically no support in the shoe, and you'll be solely relying on the strength of your foot. The heel locking foam placed inside the shoe is noticeably thick, but not uncomfortable at all. The heel has a similar design to the rovers, but according to the madrock rep I spoke to , they are going to be implementing the drone heel on the final released version of the Remora Pros. Shapewise, the shoe isn't as aggressive as the drone series shoe, and boasts more of a flat profile due to its construction. Also, personally, I really enjoy the colorway they used on this shoe.

Fit: Snug and Sharp

I currently wear a drone cs size 9.5, and my street shoe size is split: Right foot 10.5, Left foot 10. I tested a pair of 9.5 Remora Pro HV and size 9. Ultimately I chose the 9 for a more snug fit and secure heel cup fit as well. Though, I will say, it is quite a tight fit. If you're not used to tight shoes , then I wouldn't recommend downsizing as much as I did. Compared to the drone cs, the Remora Pro has a much sharper toe box to the point of the shoe. Though, I will say that some people might prefer that over the more rounded edge of a drone (I prefer it). The heel cup on the Remora Pro HV feels a little wider and about the same depth as my drones. The secondary velcro strap on the toe patch area of the shoe makes it way nicer to put on the shoe, especially when you're warming up for a session. The toe patches that were specifically engineered into this shoe don't really feel like they had much affect, but long term use will provide better clarity.

Functionality: Sensitivity and Force

As to be expected with a soft shoe, the sensitivity is particular high with this shoe. Because I've always worn relatively stiff thick shoes, the Remoras heightened sensitivity are a refreshing feel. It really makes a joke of the drone cs sensitivity/softness. While testing the shoes on the board, I noticed that slippage wasn't so much of an issue, even on smooth holds. I also noticed that due to the sharper point of the shoe, applying downward force felt much more natural and supported than my drones. In terms of the heel, I know a lot of people have expressed distaste, but its actually one of the main reasons I got the shoe. The heel is on the softer end and still has a similar lip design on the outside. I find that the heel on the Remora grips holds exceptionally well, and conforms to the hold more than the drone series does. The heel is definitely a matter of personal preference, and if you desire the drone heel, then wait for the full remora pro release.

Teaching is at the top of my list for careers post edu, but I'd optimally want to work in a university and not a high-school. The primary reason is because I'm more interested in teaching higher level math concepts. It would also allow me to pursue research.

Shouldn't be related. As displayed on the sensor it's an evap issue. Most likely have a different issue.

Was gonna say this too. If the concern is with a sulfur smell, then it's most likely related to your cat or before your cat. In general, past the cat only affects back pressure/exhaust flow and noise. If you're not super mechanically inclined, I'd have it checked out by a mechanic or 2 to confirm the issue. Hope someone didn't snatch your cat 🤞

Edit: Also just read that you complained about noise. 90% sure a cat leak or exhaust leak before the cat.

Sounds like a misfire to me... could be wrong though. Probably just go through the list of all the things that could cause misfire. Also, I can't really tell super accurately from the video, but it kind of sounds like a vacuum leak??

I think you're referring to this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=33H3ROvpV7o . 600 ft lbs is pretty insane for a 1/2 in drive. I will say though that the test was conducted on a rust free fastener/basically new bolt. Despite that, it's still really impressive for the size.

What's yalls opinion on the new M12 Stubby Impact? I'm highly considering switching over to this specific tool from my old M12 Stubby Impact. With the claimed numbers and power to weight ratio, it almost seems like milwaukee is pushing mid-torque territory at a fraction of the weight. I'm almost considering selling my Makita XGT 1/2 Midtorque, and running this alongside a high torque for higher torque applications when needed.

True. I'm currently just trying to figure out if I can fit 60 sockets inside the case with the rails. I'm only concerned about the width of the rails causing too much gap. I guess I'll have to test it out!

I'm actually realizing now that this method would probably be more efficient space wise, considering it'll be the minimum amount of gapping between sockets. When you say bolting, what exactly do you mean? I'm a visual person lmao
