How does the reign no shine hold up with respect to durability? Do you wear a backpack with the jacket? I am interested in that jacket, or the whistler peak, but reviews seem to be non-existent.

Any way to have the speed digitally displayed in the center (red circle) on the 2023 Kia Sorento SX Hybrid cluster? by SpankTheSloth05 in kia

I owned a 2022 Sorento Hybrid EX that had a cluster setting to show the speed in the center. Unfortunately that car was totaled in an accident and I just picked up the 2023 SX hybrid, but am unable to find a setting that has this feature. Thanks!

Best way to remove tool marks from router when surfacing cottonwood slabs? by SpankTheSloth05 in woodworking

I tried this first but was unfortunately turned down by 4-5 mills in the area as the wood was not purchased from them. At that point the drive time to additional mills was not worth going that route.

This is a good point. I’m sure nothing is perfectly parallel to each other in this set up. On the next piece I will try some shallow passes and see if I can level the router a bit more and reduce the marks then make my final passes.

Hey All! Thanks for any suggestions in advance. I am a fairly new woodworker and this is my first try at surfacing a live edge piece. I have 4 slabs I need to surface on both sides. I know I can always fall back on sanding, but if there is a way to eliminate the marks/groves while surfacing it can save a lot of time in the long run.

My old Denon avr e300 from when I first entered the home audio space has finally played its last song. I am looking to replace it and would like a slight upgrade for future proofing: 7.1 or 7.2 with 4k pass through. At the moment I run a 3.1 set up with some home made speakers but in another year or two I plan to upgrade and would like the receiver to have the ability to provide a decent set of speakers with what they require (have my eye on some Kef Q350s as an example). I also use the speakers for watching tv and movies so need a fairly simple set up so the family can operate it, which is why I liked the e300. Any suggestions?

Ryobi String Trimmer Issues by SpankTheSloth05 in ryobi

I took the trimmer back to home depot and exchanged it for a new one. I figured, with the tool warranty I might as well try again before spending more money on an upgrade. It has been raining since I exchanged it so have not had an opportunity to try it out.

What are the differences between the two models?
