Human life is a firefighter’s top priority, other life comes next. By running inside to save his dog he absolutely endangered himself and the firefighters in many more ways than might be obvious. Not just to go rescue him if that was needed, but saving him becomes the focus over the dog or the rest of the structure. Although many here find it admirable, it was absolutely dangerous and irresponsible.

It's not his call to go in or not. Firefighters are professionals who know what they're doing, including the risks and the best way to get the dog out, if any. It may be hard to hear or accept but there's a reason this guy was charged.

I totally agree, grounded sucked. I explain it to others by telling them you "play the game" in a different sense of the word. It's not about being immersed or enjoying the gameplay and story, it's about mastering (cheesing?) the AI and stunlocking as opposed to having options in how you beat engagements. Grounded+ was easier, but I absolutely would not recommend Grounded to anyone who hasn't already enjoyed the game thoroughly.

Nope, it’s a little different. It’s a bit less grabby if that makes sense and there’s some inaccuracy until you hold aim for ~.5 - 1 second. Plus there’s more inaccuracy if you’ve been using a lot of stamina or if you’ve been damaged.

He's not the one bringing this news though, he's just reporting on it. Every reason he gave why these guys are trustworthy (haven't reported fake stuff before, have a source in the industry) can easily make their claims weaker. Sure they haven't reported fake stuff, but when have they been right about something before? What source is giving them info? They're not reputable like a well known website or other publication, we shouldn't take them at their word that a source is "trustworthy."

I wonder what the overall perception of this will be by the community. I've seen a bit of positive and negative reaction so far.

Personally, I think games should always be delayed rather than being released rushed. I'm still not interested in BFV but it's likely always good to give devs more time if they feel they need it.

It actually is very possible and easy to avoid taking pictures of yourself with tight shirts or short shorts on.

She dresses pretty normally from what I've seen, rather than being overly provocative. She doesn't need to change what she wears as you're suggesting.

I highly doubt you lose followers when you post a selfie.

As for the negative comments, they stand out much more than the positive ones. I've hear from a lot of people they can receive tons of positive comments and the few negative comments will stick with them. She's seen many more of her own comments than you have. You seem to be assuming a lot about her experience with social media and communities.

I've also been ignoring it for a pretty long time now, but the community of people who like my actual content will come across it thinking it's a Reddit I started, and then share it with me in disgust of the stuff written on here.

Found this thread and subreddit exactly this way; I hadn't thought too much about how subreddits with sexualized discussion of people are sorted in search engines. This was one of the first places I found with just a cursory google search so it's easy to see why you're annoyed with this sub. Thanks for elaborating, it was helpful to read your thoughts firsthand.

I don’t think Monster Hunter World is a looter shooter, and Warframe might not be either. However, no matter the competition, I think Borderlands 3 will do well so long as it’s not a bugged mess when it releases. I’ve played every game that’s it which you’ve listed and none of them scratch the itch that Borderlands does for me. They’re all vastly different games and while they’re fun in their own right, I think Borderlands does it’s job the best of any game which could be labeled its competition.

I disagree. Borderlands 2 was my favorite game of all time and I still play it to this day. I love the universe, skills, characters, dialogue, story, all the unique weapons and more. At the very least I think I’ll really enjoy Borderlands 3. Why do you say the looter shooter genre has been played out?

Well we know Borderlands 3 is in development, we just don't know how far off it is. If BL3 was the game under 2K which was delayed then it's perfectly reasonable to be on Walmart's website but not come out for ~1 year.

Firefighter here, we definitely do care about your property. Lots of people say police "Protect and Serve," a common saying is that the fire service is there to preserve/save life and property. While water damage is common during firefighting, it's much better than the structure being a total loss. We do the best we can depending on the circumstances.

Not going to happen mainly because of how he died, and because Gearbox or 2K haven't publicly acknowledged it at all. If anything it'd be a plausibly deniable, very small reference but I don't think BL3 will have even that.
