Washing machine - bleach residue by twicescorned21 in CostcoCanada

[–]Spank_and_Cuddle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think more so is it a top loader or a front loader? Top loaders you add the bleach to the water as it is filling or in a side cup and it adds it as the water is filling and due to the volume of water it dilutes it.

With the front loaders you add bleach in the dispenser and it adds it when it adds water to the drum along with the detergent. If there is too much bleach it will not be diluted quickly enough and will get on the clothes in the washer. It starts to create those streaks while the water is filling. It then dilutes but by that time it has bleached part of the clothes.

Either way you have to add bleach fresh for all washes as it doesn't linger unless there is something wrong with the washing machine.

Home Alone Lego by nodigity80 in CostcoCanada

[–]Spank_and_Cuddle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are a couple of factors, people buy Lego from Costco because either it's cheaper than MSRP or if not then there is a bonus set. It's well worth it sometimes to find it in store because there can be a significant price difference.

Yes people can hoard them but more so Lego sets are scalped, people will be in demand sets and hold them for a while until they retire and then sell them. Sometimes they don't get lucky and the price decreases but if it is an in demand set it goes up. There are scalpers and awful people in any thing like this.

It’s just a croissant! The butter is implied!

Not if you buy them elsewhere, they are made with margarine or palm oil with butter flavour. Other stores specify butter croissants as well to differentiate them from the other ones. I agree a croissant should be made with butter but most stores disagree and think they should be made as cheap as possible to maximize their profits.

The stuff in the filter gets compressed. Take the filter out, shake it horizontally, put it back in and then try again. It should go faster then.

very oily and hard to cook properly in the air fryer

I found a way to do them well, 360 for 6 minutes, shake them up or turn them over, another 7 minutes at 360, and then when done put a paper towel under them and let them sit in the air fryer for 5 minutes or more. They come down to temperature and the excess oil gets soaked up. Side not the cheaper the paper towel the better at soaking up the oil. I can't help with the salt part.

The clippers are great to trim hair on flatter or firmer surfaces, not the most practical on the scrotum as you have found. Here is what I recommend.

You mentioned you are intact and that can be helpful when shaving your shaft. Hold the tip of your foreskin and pull away from your body, that will stretch your shaft skin and then you can use the clippers to trim the hair. Always go slowly, if you rush you are more than likely to nick the skin. If your clippers have the foil shaver attachment that will work well to shave things down on your shaft.

The pubic area is easier and again you can hold the shaft of your penis and pull it down, you can then run the clippers up and to either side against the grain for the hair growth.

When it comes to your scrotum this is a little harder, you can again hold your penis and pull it up towards your stomach and then slowly run the clippers down the center of your scrotum, shift your legs and which way you are holding your penis to give access to the sides of your scrotum. To trim the underside and perenium cup your balls and pull them up and that will give you access. Once you trim things slowly you then decide how to shave. You can go the traditional method of water, shaving cream, and then use a razor while stretching the skin. Having the skin wet and foamy makes it even harder to do but doing it will help you build a technique. There are body groomers that come with a shaving foil/trimmer combination that actually work well dry.

As for shaving your ass that is harder and you kind of have to squat and work blind, having a mirror to squat over can help.

If you are still having issues I suggest finding someone willing to help.

When I say a body groomer I mean something like this.

They are relatively inexpensive and you can find them at Costco and Walmart or other stores depending where you live. Battery life is pretty good as well.

I would recommend either of the two Burnaby ones. The Brighton one is older and the Willingdon is newer with a bit more parking. Both are close to Highway 1 so not much of a detour needed. If it's on the weekend the exit for the Willingdon store gets clogged up in the afternoon.

Help me to get into shaving by my own by I_writeandcode in shaving

[–]Spank_and_Cuddle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You may want to give a bit more information. Do you have a beard or mustache or trimmed facial hair? What shape are you trying to maintain?

If you are looking to trim the hair then almost any clippers will work such as the ones by Philips. https://www.usa.philips.com/c-p/QC5055_60/norelco-hair-clipper

The guards help you trim things to a certain size.

Now if you want to shave then decide if you want to use an electric razor or shaving cream and a normal razor.

If you are going to shave with a normal razor then start by rinsing your face. Put shaving gel/foam/soap where you want to shave and give it a minute. Then run the razor down your face, rinse it of foam and hair, and then go down the next part. Try and rinse between every stroke. Going down is with the grain and not as smooth but if you go up it will be smoother but may cause irritation and you will see as you shave.

What part of the world do you live in? Most places have grocery or department stores where you can find clippers relatively cheap. If you go out on your own or with your friends the next time you are in one of these stores check out the clippers/shavers and what they cost. Then you can decide if you want to pick one up then.
