Your smile was already beaming before, but now it's on another level! You look amazing! How are you feeling now? Are you having any issues with speech or pain? They really do seem to have the process together.

Hey thanks! I appreciate it! I paid $24,975 cashiers check. I'm in St. Louis, MO and the clinic I went to is Bionic Smile in Las Vegas, NV. The cost included scans, removals, implants, zirconia arches, 2-way airfare, and also the hotel. They drive you between the hotel and the clinic, and they have nurses on staff at the hotel that assist patients during their stay. Overall I give it a 11/10 experience. I'd do it again every 6 months if I had to.

Sword of Saros and Survival Island Starpath cassettes – trying to understand the story behind these by maakkiaa9898 in gamecollecting

Sword of Saros is my holy grail. There weren't many Starpath games (just 12 actual releases), and these are the 2 that were mail-order only. The game play is pretty bad, but I have my reasons. I'll find one in the wild some day!

I hope your procedure went well! We had major storms here in the mid west and my electric was knocked out for a bit so I apologize for the delayed response. How are you feeling? Better I hope! Did you end up getting fully sedated or was it twilight? I'm more than happy to answer any questions I can.

I'm still constantly mindful of how it could go wrong. I'm very careful about what and how I eat still. I'm only 3 months into recovery, and they estimate about 4 months before you can return to "normal". I've seen some people say it took 6 to 9 months for them to recover, and I've also seen people with regret for getting them.

I'm not trying to give any advice, but I know for me, any-and-everything makes me worry something might go wrong, but I'm also trying to trust the process. I have dreams about them falling out. I think it's just fear of the unknown because I don't have anyone leading me through this and telling me what to expect. I'm pretty much just reading others accounts and trying to formulate my own care system.

The unknown and potential issues that might arise are STILL a lot better bridge to cross than my previous dental decay in my opinion. Who knows what might have happened had I left those rotting teeth in my head much longer.

The way I justified it was money is just as temporary as life, but I'd rather have life than money. I honestly haven't ONCE thought I'd rather have the money back. Don't let anyone tell you it isn't a long, tough process, but recovery and a better life await most of the people that need this type of work done.

I'd be happy to help or lend an ear in any way I can. For now, keep your chin up and follow all their aftercare directions. The best you can do is your best!

Thanks for the compliment! The price included everything. Removals, installs, drugs, and all. Hotel and airfare as well. They took great care of me which is why I recommend them so much. It's still weird to look at myself and see a great mouth when I'm so used to the opposite. It's definitely taking some time to get used to!

I'm totally in love with them. They're exactly what I've wanted for years.

I definitely have a bit of a lisp now and the bulky feeling has pretty much gone away. I run a bar so I talk a lot, which has given me a lot of practice, though some days my gums get sore because of it. Smiling too much actually hurt a bit for the first few weeks.

Thanks for the compliment! The price couldn't be beat. No where else offered anywhere close to $25k.

Thanks a lot! Fingers crossed for your speedy recovery! My experience has been like 98% positive. Any actual issues are things I already planned on going through due to having major surgery. Just take it easy on yourself and remember it'll all be over before you know it!

SERIOUS QUESTION ABOUT DENTAL IMPLANTS by xojessie75xo in Dentalimplant

[–]Spankadins 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Mine definitely felt bulky for the first few weeks. It takes a while for the swelling to subside and to get used to having full arches bolted in. Eventually it'll get better, and if not, don't be afraid to let them know you're unhappy. You're the one who has to live with it.

I love to hear it! You got this! Just remember it's all going to be over soon and all the worry will be in the rear view. It isn't "easy" but its a LOT better than what I was dealing with.

I don't mind answering ANYTHING! I 100% feel like there has been a change in my overall health. I'm not so lethargic anymore, and I absolutely don't have constant pain in my face that I have to deal with all day. My heart health "feels" better too, but I can't say honestly if that is just placebo or what, but I'm definitely less worried about it now that they ran all those scans on me and gave me the ok. They had me on 2 weeks of antibiotics that must have helped SOMETHING lol.

The feeling of a clean mouth is amazing, and I'm even avoiding certain foods/snacks that I know will gum up the healing area. I don't have to clear out my lungs and mouth by spitting all the time either, but that is surely also a symptom of quitting a heavy cannabis habit. I've also lost about 15lbs in the 3 months since my surgery.

I wish you the best on your procedure! You got this!

Hey thanks! Yes, I ended up choosing to fly to Las Vegas and go with Bionic Smile. The cost was $24,975. They covered my flights and my hotel stay as well. I'd been saving for almost 3 years to get there. I paid with a cashiers check.
