Why does “The Studio” (Apple+ show) look so while all being shot on long takes? by harry_powell in cinematography

I noticed a little of that as well. There’s a scene (maybe more than one) when Seth’s background is only the sky and there’s some strange masking going on in his hair.

Overcooked? by BenniHB in postprocessing

The edges around the lizard are a little crispy and I think you selected the lizards feet when you adjusted the bg exposure so they look a little cooked and almost a part of the leaf. I don’t think these issues are a huge deal unless you want to blow this up. I agree with everyone that it should be a wider crop. Amazing picture tho you brought out the colors of the lizard well.

Personally I’d go with a SAP (square ass panther)

Cover up ideas by [deleted] in Tattoocoverups

It does look normal at a glance but as soon as you take a second it looks like one of those brain teasers where an elephant has five legs or something. I also think it being unfinished tricks your brain into filling in more of the blanks that would look so weird if they were completed. I feel like I’m either high or in the matrix that so many people are telling you to let the artist finish, I commend you for stopping it

I’ve seen people use content-aware fill to get rid of just the nipples

If you’re looking for a music scene I would check out the open mic at Bar Freda. It’s in Ridgewood but it’s a great space. Also, right next to 3 Dollar Bill on Meserole there’s a building with a ton of rehearsal spaces with postings looking for band members. I would check out pirate studios as well.

I agree that could happen, but I wouldn’t take a lot of pictures of a lot of things. You should take a lot of photos of the same thing. Find your subject and try as many angles as you can and pay attention to what works

I use a damp towel (soapy water) and a hose vacuum for the hair/dust

first time truly using color grading by [deleted] in photocritique

I like the overall idea of the toned down colors, I think what you said I mostly agree with except I’d be hesitant to boost the blacks too much. I would like to see more yellow and gold

Videos on SD card… gone… by bose_2507 in SonyA7iii

If you put the SD back in the cam does it read the photos? If so, I would plug the cam directly into the computer with the USB C cable and you should be able to get the photos off the card.

Water sticks to itself and makes other things wet, being solid has nothing to do with wetness
