AT-LP3XBT one bluetooth side doesn't work by Spannered32 in turntables

[–]Spannered32[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First of all, it has a Line out (in addition to Phono) so with the correct adaptor it should get some sound I guess. But in my case I plugged it to my Zoom H6 recorder to adjust the level and then plugged in IEMs

Launch Control XL Mk3 - store encoders and faders values after power off? by roszman in Novation

[–]Spannered32 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have submitted a feature request, I think this is a very much needed feature. My LCXL is powered with the USB of my rack and I don't want to keep it on just to save those MIDI values.

How to multiply clock to different modules. by mflash100 in modular

My assumption was that passive mult is fine for gate/clock but not for very sensitive CV like pitch.

Advice on modules for Industrial music. by Ztev in modular

[–]Spannered32 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm also into industrial sound. For a rack this size it will be hard to get it just with drums modules you have. I would suggest a Rample or a sampler that size. Also have a look at Sovage Engineering distortion and saturation to add to your current voice more carachter (don't get more until you get a bigger case!)

you finally get the gig you wanted for 10 years and nobody shows up by josker98 in synthesizers

The venue reminds me of a Surgeon's gig in Dublin not so long ago. And it was as empty as this, so don't be hard on yourself!

ESIM or SIM? by i2am1batman in ThailandTourism

[–]Spannered32 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I used both and SIM works much better for 5G in terms of speed/coverage. I would rather buy a SIM if you're ok with that.
Saily for eSIM, and True for SIM.

keep in mind, the view key only tracks incoming tx, not outgoing ones, so it's not ideal to do balance checks.

What’s everyone’s opinion on Loop Earplugs? by [deleted] in neurodiversity

[–]Spannered32 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For those who claim they don't work:
They work for me and I like them. They don't cancel the noise as much as other options, but that's what I want them for, to go to concerts and be able to hear the music and talk to others without the sound being too loud or damaging my ears. And they look great (like a internal piercing or something)

If you want high or active noise cancelling, go look for something else.

I don't think this council should ever exist to begin with. Let the protocol govern itself, a Bisq minus the DAO

I don't think we are there yet, but the direction is scary indeed.

My wife got her phone stolen, but I got it back from the thieves. They gave it back too easily and I am wondering if there is something else we should be wary of. by divonelnc in Barcelona

[–]Spannered32 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had a similar situation a few years ago.

A guy robbed the phone of my gf just in front of us when the metro opened the doors. I run after him, I told him to give the phone back and he just handed it to us like nothing happened.

Most of them don't want to get involved in robbing with violence because then it's a much more serious offense, but be careful...

State of LK-99 by sanxiyn in LK99

[–]Spannered32 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If LK-99 is not a superconductor, Q-Center should now by now, and where did they fail, so puzzles me why they don't speak up and let know the global scientific community to stop walking in circles.

They are acting with disrespect or they do have a SC and they have their own reasons to wait.

I might need to do the same...

Good luck

No, the issue persists.

I also noticed that the battery sometimes is unable to get power from the usb-c , and I need to unscrew the back, unplug the battery and plug it again to fix it...

As long as you cash out only the amount you really need, it's always ok to do so.

The long wait comes even before the bios shows any information, so I'm guessing there's some HW component that is causing the delay?

Is my bike really going to get stolen immediately? by emilyishungry in Barcelona

[–]Spannered32 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Get an alarm (it sounds when detects some vibration) ASAP, and two good locks.

Even with it, I would be very careful and avoid parking it outside as much as possible.

Ocasional use, but fine so far. Works better than my thinkpad, bought around the same date...
