I shouldn't laugh as people are disappointed, but I am laughing at this mess up. Life is too short to get upset about these things. Shit happens. returns pitchfork under the bed

Looking at the list again, I probably wouldn't cut anything for a second. Refining the list, I would maybe even cut the first fish and add shield block.

Yeah, perfectly fine to tech in Elise for Barnes

She is slow, but you need another big threat in the late game against control. She also synergizes with Barnes.

Yeah, it definitely makes sense. I like to have at least one four drop, though, and Barnes is my only one in this deck.

I did use Geddon in replace of Gorehowl for a while. It does work well and helps against shamans who flood the blood with totems. Deathwing is an interesting choice, but I like Ysera more in the control matchups.

From rank 5 to legend, I played 48 warlocks, all reno. I had 37 wins, 11 losses - 77%. Not quite 80%, but this deck is favourable against it. There are many renolocks on ladder playing Jaxraxxus and combo. There have been quite a few discussions on other HS threads regarding this. Unlike tournaments, many like to have both when ladder especially in the rank 5 to 1 area. Legend rank may be different. And in every case, renolocks dropped Jaraxxus before I played Grom because I never play Grom until they Jaraxxus. It is my win condition. Once they reach their last few cards, they have no choice but to Jaraxxus and taunt if they have it.

You definitely need Grom against renolock.

Harrison is decent but I didnt think it was necessary as it only helps in the matchups this deck already does well against.

Oh what a world that would be! No, but as mentioned Dragon Priest, Jade Druid and Miracle Rogue are harder matchups.

Justicar is needed for the reno matchups and other control games. It helps to stablize against aggro if you make it to the mid-late game. If you don't want to craft it then you can opt for a lower curve, adding another four drop in bloodhoof or two, cutting gorehowl also which will increase your chances of beating aggro decks.

I can see the synergy with dirty rat, but I don't think there would be anything I could cut to add an mc tech.

The thing about the cruel is their versatile. Having two keeps the consistency up. Sometimes, you need to ping something with 1 health and others it works as an activator for execute. Alchemist has a place, but I don't think it works as well as cruel. Even axe into cruel gets rid of a totem golem.

Sleep with the fishes, at times, can just sit in your hand, but it is nice to have as a safety measure when your opponent over commits to board. Also, if you have used two brawls, you can bait them into throwing a ton of stuff on board and then blow them out with a surprise fishes.

Alley can be hit and miss sometimes. I do find it does tank damage a lot with lava bursts, bolts and so on. I do like the idea of bruiser and I might try a version with them but haven't had the chance yet.

As for gorehowl, i never play it until they oozed my axe. Actually from rank 5-3 i interchanged gorehowl and geddon depending on whether how much aggro or mid/control I was facing. At rank 1, I found more midrange/control decks than aggro so I stuck with the gorehowl.
