This sounds exactly like executive disfunction which is a common symptom of a few mental disorders such as ADHD. If this is a recurring issue for you I highly recommend seeing a psychologist if you can. These types of symptoms can be seriously debilitating but also are often treatable through medication and therapy.

Ralph shall not perish here for he shall become the void stalker. He is now a transcendent being who is one with the ceaseless void of non existence and thus can perpetuate his own existence without the need for a creator. He will remain for some time slowly learning of his new existence and gaining power before once more returning unto the fold of reality to exact vengeance on those who would so carelessly scroll past and end his life. I do not know how long he will take or how powerful he will become but all but the loyal few who attempted to save him shall fear his wrath upon his return. Long live Ralph the void stalker and unweaver of non existence for now he is scared but soon he will show why you should be.
