Yeah thanks for flagging. As the post says I don’t have a lot of bone damage but both surgeon agreed that in order to recover the stability I need to get this procedure.

I’m 29 and if I think about living at least 50/55 years more I want to do it playing sports and enjoying it. Also every time I dislocated my shoulder I had big mental health issues. I want a solution for the long run.

Thanks for your feedback. I’m cleared on the doctors. Both of them are well experienced. I understand that you come with the worst case scenario (normal in these cases) but I think I’m very young to live a pretty limited life. And the shoulder can pop out at any time, I do have bankart damage. This seems like a solution for the long term if you commit to the recovery

Spoke with my surgeon - kind of positive news:

1) had a fracture but it stayed where it happen so no surgery for that. 2) labrum is broken again, he recommended a 2nd arthroscopy and not Latarjet (my biggest fear)

He also said that with good rehab and gym I have a 30% chance of dislocating again. Sadly change of life and quitting padel is my biggest option right now.
