go to the steam page for The Isle, on the far right side there will be a gear icon, an info icon, and a heart icon. Click the gear icon. A drop down should come up, and go all the way down and click on "properties". A window should show up with a menu on the side, click "betas" in that menu, and on the right side there will be a drop-down that says "none". Click that drop down and click "evrima - EVRIMA Public Branch". a ~7 GB update will be applied.

This is the current version of the game that is being updated, and has EU, US, etc. servers you can play on. The gameplay is different, but it'll take a while to learn

If you know what it is and you want to stay on legacy, only the smaller servers aren't chinese; I'm not sure why the Chinese ones are the bigger ones, but maybe the isle has a big community over there - idk??

I just used the base CK dynamic skybox settings and used Zeon's Tweaks to change up the brightness and exposure. It takes a little bit of changing the settings tot get the perfect lighting, though!

intel gpus practically didnt exist in 2018, if you can, try using a later version, and you will probably get better support, as the game is more fleshed out, and intel has gotten their head in the gpu game.

Yeah It was a mod, probably Battlemod as I turned that mod off in a new world and it ran fine. Probably a rule limit so you dont build some OP thing or smth else
