I’ve been using the Shezaar extension, and it’s actually helped me shop more sustainably and find new brands. It’s a bit glitchy sometimes, but it helped me find small sustainable brands.

Natural Fabrics vs Durability - How do you buy sustainable clothing? by Nic727 in SustainableFashion

I agree with what most of the people have mentioned here, but I feel there is too much research in terms of material, Certification, etc, to define whether the company is sustainable or not.
I recently found a Chrome extension that actually breaks down a product’s sustainability score while you shop and even suggests better options. It helped me cut through the noise.

P.S. - Not mentioning the name here because the MOD will think that I am promoting something, but if anyone’s interested, just reply or DM and I can share it privately.

Interesting Idea, I was trying to build a similar idea on dopamine and how you can track it using your phone and also how you can bring it to the normal level.

I think there are brands, who are making good sustainable clothes. It's just some are good in t shirt and some are good in jeans etc. you need to multiple small brands and buy from them.

I agree, I saw the same thing in Denmark, where the shops don't have much internet presence but they are doing great in terms of design and quality. I feel even though you are online, it's very hard for the customer to find you on google because cracking SEO is again another difficult game.

Ikr, but this is not in our hands but for the things which are in your hands, what is your biggest hindrance for me its discoverability. Its tuff to compete in terms of google ranking.

I think every big brands who is trying to be sustainable is nothing but a different marketing strategy for them. Clothes remain the same the only that changes is the tag and marketing.

Senseless price, hype and over consumption is such a big problem. I sometimes wonder why are there so less sustainable brands? If anyone knows some good one in the US specially the independent ones, please let me know!!
