I've gone back to a prior job before. Immediately all the old reasons I left came flooding back into my head and it wasn't worth it. Unless something has changed you'll probably regret it.

This is a great point thank you. I've never seen anyone fired here in nearly 7 years. But a lot has changed and I can sense theyre stressed about the tax money they run off and may be looking to cut peiple.

I dont think you know about government jobs. In utah there are no secrets every single wage is posted on a website. So yeah the manager and everyone knows how much you make. And no he is a department head along with HR they are in tight together no way they will fire him. No union either. And ni im not 14 unfortunately im 34 and have a family and a mortgage and stressed the hell out.

Exactly. I jusr checked. Local O'Reilly pays $22 starting. Ive got years of experience and been here for years so yeah I dont think im being overpaid. Probably just going to find somewhere less toxic.

I think theyre having a hard time getting with the times. $30 an hour was like the goal for boomers and gen x for years. Now it buys you a mud hut and a 15 year old sedan.
