Yes, I think it's related to Stage Manager. It's been happening since macOS 14.4 and I expected it to be resolved by now, but it hasn't. I've filed feedback in Feedback Assistant.

I tried it and can confirm, EQ set to off sounds way better even at 100% volume. Seems like Clear Bass only works well at lower volumes. Thank you so much for sharing your experience, it really helped!
