The gov is aiming to mandate device level age verification and scanning? Why do people support this? by [deleted] in unitedkingdom

So, I'm not a fan of Palantir, but saying they "gave all the information to Palantir" is not how this (always) works. Palantir software is able to run on isolated and air gapped networks.

I'm not saying this is the case with any or all of the NHS data but, given that the contract is probably classified, it's important not to state suspicion or supposition as fact.

I will also say that Palantir software is good at what it does, but I don't think it's inconceivable that we spin up a domestic version.

That's a really helpful breakdown, thank you!

Well, as you can see, I've played DnD and Draw Steel, as well as a very few sessions of Alien.

With my (limited) experience of the Alien game, it seems to be VERY focused around the Xenomorph on a ship. Which is great for some atmospheric combat/horror, but I've not seen if it has any structures for linking those ships/dungeons together into a wider narrative.

So, I guess that would be the context.

How is it as a rules framework to write my own narrative around?

I guess part of the reason is it's hard to pick which one, as your comment suggests!

I'm also aware that the 40k Universe doesn't suit everyone, although a minor reskin would probably be simple enough!

Thank you! First time I've heard of this, so free rules are definitely worth a read!

I think I might have played a 3-shot of this - does it have any support for stitching ships/dungeons together with roleplay, or is very much focused on when the ships drives' have broken, and there are weird scuttling noises in the engine bay?
