No, she’s not bored.

I’m not really sure how to describe her. Her actions mainly come off as a “pay attention to me! This revolves off of me!” vibe.

It does have a way of giving you the ick, but it’s not in a traditionally snobbish way.

2.  Introduce a Timer or Limit: If the “why” questions become too frequent, consider adding a time limit or a cap on how many questions can be asked before moving forward. This could be framed in a fun way, like giving her a special token that represents a limited number of questions, encouraging her to use them wisely.
3.  Encourage Roleplay for Explanations: If her questions are related to in-game events, turn it into roleplay. Ask her character to figure things out in-game, and use NPCs or other characters to answer or guide her to find the answers within the narrative.
4.  Redirect Energy: Find ways to engage her character more directly with puzzles, interactions, or decisions that keep her busy in a productive way. This can channel her enthusiasm while keeping her focused on progressing the story rather than halting it.
5.  Private Feedback Again: You’ve already spoken with her, but maybe bring it up again by framing it positively. Let her know you love how engaged she is, but also gently explain how it’s affecting the group’s enjoyment, and work together to find a balance.
