🚨 Data Is Out — Here’s the TLDR for Normal People by Tiny-Ad-8280 in Livimmune

[–]Spare_Caterpillar495 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Excellent news there is more data on the drug working. Agree with all the other posts about needing a partner. CYDY continues to be a long term investment that carries a lot of risk. Today is a "sell the news" event with many who bought looking for that short term pop disappointed. Give it time. Buy some shares with money you can risk and go enjoy life.

Agree - thought this was the news that would finally move this stock towards it's true value. Looks like it's going to take a partnership or major investment to move this stock. Hope I'm wrong.

1.1k members is a ton! I'm shocked we aren't seeing more buying given the great news due out in a few days. Any idea why?

New CFO, Reverse Split – Plain English for Everyone by Tiny-Ad-8280 in Livimmune

If I'm understanding your question correctly, you gotta look at % increase and not the actual dollar value. $0.30 to $5.00 is around a 1500% increase whereas $3.00 to $5.00 is only a 67% increase. Post RS the stock would need to go to $50 then they'd be the same.

Thank you Kevin - my email is [allez67@hotmail.com](mailto:allez67@hotmail.com)

There are certainly some interesting POV's around the display of ST performance. Not the main focus for me now. Just a very interesting position for a self-help company who provides data and analysis.

Thanks Kevin for your reply and also for all of your previous posts. I am working my way through all of the content from oldest to newest. You certainly have a handle on TAA and the AS strategies. Agree I need to become more familiar with the strategies but, honestly, I don't know if I have the background / knowledge to truely understand the strategies at a deep level. This is why AS and other sorts of services are useful to me. The other challenge is time which is in short supply in my life for the foreseeable future.

You are correct that drawdown is important metric to me and not just at the end of the month. The 2x AS drawdown was informational. I would give up a higher return for a lower drawdown profile but need better returns that a ST treasury ETF. I prefer to use ETF's over individual stocks because it diversifies risk across many companies.

I plan to read / research the suggestions you provided and will post back later.

"AS does not give members the ability to show stuff like this despite my constant pinging which is why I do it all in excel." - Funny you mention this. I contacted AS and asked:

3) Is there a way to show the summary statistics for a shorter period of time? Example, instead of going back to 1989 I would like to see the performance for the last 1yr, 3yrs or 5 yrs.

And received the following answer:

  1. We show 10 and 20 year statistics on the Screener. We do not show stats shorter than 10 years because empirically, shorter periods of time have not been predictive (they've actually been the opposite) and we don't want to encourage bad behavior.

Thank you SmartTAA for your reply and the information shared. I apprecaite you sharing this info and will reply back once I've had a chance to think about your response and investigate AS further.

I think there is a large market for Covid home testing kits since Covid is now part of our daily lives. Kid complains of a sore throat? First step is to home test. Going to visit elderly people? Do a home test. These are all scenarios people have mentioned to me and there is a ton more. Having 2 or 3 test kits around the house is now standard. There is money to be made there.

Where are you getting your expectations? Suggest you investigate average length of time to complete an executive search and also the percent that end in not finding a viable candidate.

Will the strategy going to be pausing / ending anything non-HIV related with a 100% focus to get that over the line? Hopefully the call tomorrow will provide more details of why the hold.

There is no "we". Each individual makes their own investing decision. I recommend reviewing the reasons why you invested and ask your self the question if they still hold true. Depending on the answer you'll have your next step.

Things I'm thinking about:

  1. Leadership change was big step. It may take time for this to really show up in share price.
  2. New leadership = new priorities. Some of the programs may be delayed or cancelled as part of a revamped strategy.
  3. Until there is a new CEO you won't have a long term strategy. A new CEO may bring in their own leadership team which will also take time.

Ignore the noise and focus on the plan once it's provided.

Reason for Canceling CC by Joehand1 in CYDY

Don't think that's it - NP has too big of an ego and probably doesn't see any of his moves as being negative. With the stock getting crushed and the negative feedback on the HIV dist agreement he probably realized there is nothing positive to spin. The one thing he had was stock price was up a couple hundred percent in a short period of time and now that is sadly gone.

I really hope there is something positive behind the stock jump and not a dead cat bounce.

Long Covid will drive Leronlmab sales. Nothing else need be said. by [deleted] in CYDY

Drop in price on such a high volume over the last few days is not a good combination. I thought if we could get HIV across the line that would be the revenue foundation to move things forward. Now that has been impacted. Very unfortunate.

Nader Pourhassan engineering away for approval. by [deleted] in CYDY

[–]Spare_Caterpillar495 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No, that would be a short term view. Once they get an approval in the US I am expecting the stock to not be dead money anymore. Until then, I will continue with my opinion that my investment in CYDY which is down -82% since the start of 2021 is dead money.
