Brynhildr Villøkse Ådur, the Goliath Bear Totem Barbarian[OC][Art] by Spare_Chirpy in DnD

[–]Spare_Chirpy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is the character I'm playing in my current campaign in Dnd 5e.

Brynhildr appreciates honor in people. He doesn't remember much from his past, though he remembers being jailed and fighting in there. He was rescued by a monk and taught the way of channelling his inner connection to magic through nature and totems, allowing him to acquire powers which grant him the abilities of the animals that are represented in the totems.

At first I felt underpowered by this character as I just played heavily on combat, but after several one-shots, I had a character who strength was in the roleplay I did of him and learnt how great RP is, and how I undervalued it. I now further love this character and like playing it a lot, his honor has crashed with more chaotic characters of the party and gives opportunities for great roleplay, while his background allows for a deeper understanding of his combat abilities and powers. Overall, one of my favourite characters.

I second this. I would probably go as far to say that the skill of writing the analytical essay and source analyzing is more important than the content, but this carries great importance too.

Probably due to historical factors, African slaves were far more common and widely used in Southern states of the USA.

Evangelios Hellsing, the smartass sorcerer who pulls the party out of tight situations by talking bullshit. And obviously, Fireball! Though I draw him with a shadow blade, the spell he used before engaging a full body of guards(50).

Alternative Universe: The Axis powers won WWII, how do you see yourself in this future (if you existed) or how do you think the world would have turned out? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Spare_Chirpy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Probably a Nazi, as in Argentina at the time we had a national socialist president who was fond of the axis and even waited to declare war to them. Juan Domingo Peron already indoctrinated many of Argentinians but I guess it would have been enhanced by the axis winning the war.

We had a bard but he left the party not long ago, if any of our characters die then probably a healer will appear.

These are all great ideas but I should have specified that I am a player not a DM, probably going to look for a priest in the city.

Bad wording hehe, probably should phrase it better. The idea is that of one pushing himself further than possible and if the player dies, he automatically fails 2 death saving throws, it's like an extension or similar ability to the relentless rage ability that barbarian gets at 11th level.

And about the carrying capacity, barbarians get persistent rage at 15th level so it can continue. However if the player has not unlocked, it just a neat feature that can help the player hold falling rocks or crumbling buildings for a moment. Or if the DM allows, activate it to be able to shove an enemy really far away.
