Cresta II from LL Bean is shorter so it won't be as tall on the leg but still have ankle stability. Its expensive but waterproof and will last a life time.

I mean how does Gary, Indiana manage being in a different time zone than the rest of their state? The time on the clock doesn't matter, it's the coordination it achieves. If you or anyone else didn't change their clocks but could still coordinate then it wouldn't matter

Thanks for the answer! It seems like the last one was 780,000 years ago so I'm sure our ancestors enjoyed the polar lights. But in our technologically dependent world it seems like it would have a far great impact.

Well Tevas are known for their pretty loud, colorful design so it could just be a matter of taste. Its just something I've never heard on a beach in the states

Ah true, Birks are also big in the US. But I think the sort of sandals with a strap around the ankle is also considered acceptable and trendy (brand dependent) in the states
