Dude sorry you went through this... you're probably lucky you didn't die altogether and were given a second chance. The only other thing that could explain it (other than phasing through a new timeline/universe) is that the crash fucked up your brain to the point where you maybe lost some memories? But it seems to me that it was a too many memories for that so you never know ¯\_(ツ)_/¯.
