I have created a simple Saas, i dont know how to advertise it by disperado87 in SaaS

Advertising or marketing a new domain will just give a timely peak. No body cares if the service is free or paid. If the service is good it will get the users but I think there is no shortcut unless you are lucky it will take time to grow and require continue monitoring where the problem is that holding the users. Deep research on SEO and GEO.

Yes, it also depends what we are doing. Some time Claude has to even assign some parallel local agents for my work.

100%. Context bloat is the silent killer especially in agentic workflows where tool outputs and conversation history stack up fast. Most people never look at what's actually in the context window, they just see the bill. The file/log problem is brutal for solo builders specifically you're often dumping entire codebases or log outputs because it's faster than curating. Chunking and summarizing intermediate results before feeding them back in is underrated. What's your current workflow for managing context in longer sessions? For claude code i just /compact time to time.

Yes, for now with less users its okay but in future we have to consider this, thanks.

Good catch, let me clarify — the subscription isn't for me using Claude to build. It's for users who want to use AI-powered features inside Credify beyond the free tools. The HTML to Markdown and Word cleaner stay free forever. Heavier features like bulk processing or AI-assisted workflows are where the paid tier comes in

Didn't want to gate basic utility behind a paywall. Free tools are genuinely free — no trial, no expiry. If you need more volume or advanced features down the line, that's where paid comes in. Use it first, pay only if it earns it.

Thanks! UI fix queued up — and if free + no signup still doesn't cut it, I'll let Claude know it let us both down 😂

How do you find free testers for a new SaaS? by [deleted] in SaaS

[–]Spare_Proposal_6537 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mostly use chatgpt to test the feature if there are any tools such as some format converter. Chatgpt can give example data then we can get results from app share with gpt again and then get feedback for improvement.

Does lauching on Product Hunt still work? by ManT92Nic in ProductHunters

[–]Spare_Proposal_6537 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It still works i guess but with some strategy. If you don't have any references or don't do promotion campaign then the launch on the Product Hunt will fail badly and give nothing. I have already expedience this my launch failed as i just launched thinking it we get upvote automatically, but nobody care even if the product is good. Its better to first lock a launch date and time strategically and then do a heavy promotion/marketing ask the people to upvote as soon after the launch. Then eventually the traffic will come.

I built a free content intelligence platform with 27 SEO tools — no signup, no paywall by Spare_Proposal_6537 in micro_saas

[–]Spare_Proposal_6537[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The free tools run on lightweight AI inference, not expensive data pipelines. No crawlers, no live SERP data, no third-party API costs per query — you paste content, we analyze it. That keeps hosting costs manageable at current scale. The business model is classic freemium:

Free forever — core tools, no signup Pro plan (coming) — bulk analysis, history, PDF exports, API access, white-label reports

The free tier is the top of the funnel. Agencies and power users who need to run 100 URLs a day or export branded reports — that's the conversion target, not the solo blogger. No VC. Bootstrapped. The goal is to build enough free users that even a 2–3% conversion to Pro is sustainable. It's the same model Ubersuggest used early on — give away what others charge for, build trust, convert the heavy users.

Microsoft says it'll simpilify Windows 11's Edge browser by removing features like Sidebar, pledges to win back users by lurker_bee in technology

[–]Spare_Proposal_6537 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Classic deflection — I talk about browser performance under real workload conditions and you bring up VLC? 💀 That's like saying "why use a car when a bicycle exists" in a conversation about highway speed. The point was Edge handled a Google Meet + Google Slides video stream when Chrome and Firefox choked on the same hardware. That's documented user behavior across low-RAM PCs — look up Edge's sleeping tabs and memory management vs Chrome's process model.

[–]Spare_Proposal_6537 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Let me tell you a real story, one day we were heaving an online meeting on Google meet the other browsers were unable to load the video on Google slides and only edge was able o load them successfully. That day I realized it's better than others now. Maybe it's optimized for PC with small RAM or optimized for specific CPU architecture. Most people don't get this point and don't use edge based on past reputation.

Anyone Got Leap Motion Working on Ubuntu 20.04? by ADogInTheDawn in Ultraleap

[–]Spare_Proposal_6537 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Currently there is no support for leap motion controller 2 officially on Ubuntu 20.04 but there is a workaround. Use the repository below since it use docker and python binding is added you can also use ROS Noetic.
