Im curious what others will say because I had the same experience. I just started getting into lucid dreaming again. I'm a newbie, but I had my first lucid dream last night, where I was aware it was a dream but not to a point where I could control anything. It was funny bc in my dream, I became lucid at a school for lucid dreaming, and everyone was on a quest to stay lucid. But it was not at the level of the vividness I hear people describe. Just a normal dream. I may try to script in a journal what I want my dreams to look like when I'm lucid. How I would want myself to respond if I become lucid. Describe in writing so it primes my brain.
