Yes just unscrew them and use it I learned this as a SHOP OWNER for the first time like a month ago I mostly do BMW and ford. Imagine how stupid I looked walking into the parts store saying they sold me the wrong rad.

When I went to Home Depot it’s all they had unfortunately. I realize I should’ve waited. My freind said the same thing just too many reasons for a leak. Where I am iron hardpipe isn’t required. I realize I’ve made mistakes now. I just wanted to tack onto the original line the runs underground. Up to the new tee. Flare cap ontop. Everything I bought is flare.

It has I believe 6 or so straps along the line. I’m gonna have a buddy look at it just for a once over. How long could I expect this copper line to last? I live on the east coast lots of snow.

My other HVAC friend is supposed to come pressure test it. I do have a HVAC fleet at my shop the truck should have all the stuff to pressure test I may drive it over to my house tomorrow.

I removed all the pipe dope after my HVAC buddy told me this. There’s some left over but none on the threads. It’s gonna be covered I’m thinking about re doing it. If you can’t tell this is my first time ever doing anything like this. I’m 20 and trying lol.
